Bitcoin core is still syncing with network after 24 hours !

It's only 1 year and 48 weeks behind..lol and not even half way on the 'process bar'....lol

Its worth the wait trust me.

Not had  good read about it yet tbh.

What forms of protection does it have ? Eg Seed recovery, wallet password, encryption, 2FA etc.

Cheers

Bread Wallet is syching on my iphone atm, plus Bitcoin Core on my lappy....3 years 21 weeks to go...lol

I have read a LOT of bad reviews and problems with Multibit HD, think i will stick to core and Electrum.

Probably use Electrum and a hardware wallet for main storage, then Bitcoin Core for mining payouts/smaller storage.

Cheers

Nothing beats bitcoincore wallet, just don't loose that wallet
Bitcoincore too me 2 days to fully sync
But glad you on your way to recover your BTC.

I am in the SAME situation !!!!!

I upgraded from Classic to HD and have been using for a month, first i lost 2FA as it disappeared of my mobile ?

I then continued to use without and recovered via seed.

I have just gone to access my wallet and it is stating my password is incorrect!!!! IT IS NOT !!!

I can NOT recover password via seed, it just 'hangs' on 'Restore Password Report' with 'working' below !!!!

If i try to recover wallet via seed it seems to be stuck on synchronizing with bitcoin network, which i have left for over half an hour....

Anyone help?

Cheers

Get Android nougat and use breadwallet APP to recover your wallet.

Just  a warning multibit HD block me out  my access to my 24BTC that were stored there. Would not accept my password , would not restore wallet with passphrase , would not sync . Basically tried everything to get it back and spent a whole day , finally  i came across breadwallet on Android but my Android version on my mobile did not support so i had to purchase another phone had Android Nougat that did and manage to recover my btc via the seed. Never again! i cursed my associate for suggesting to use this bitcoinwallet and i curse you Multibit developer.
Now i am sticking to bitcoin core for life, its 122 GB of space but it least safe.
