That's interesting.

Originally (ages ago) the MB binaries I put onto github but then they changed their policy on binaries and wouldn't allow it (I guess because of bandwidth use).

We have someone doing a revamp of our site with better download pages so hopefully we won't have to put them either as links or on github soon.  We'd like to serve them directly from our own dedicated servers for security reasons.

so the installers are just gdrive links at the moment.
Are you aware that you can upload binary releases to github (see the "releases" link in the middle on top of the repository view), this will also create a tag (or use an existing tag) so you can easily tie every binary to the exact git revision it belongs with only one mouse click. You can upload multiple binaries to every release. Many people don't seem to be aware of this.

Hello Everybody,

Gary and I have been working away on MultiBit HD (MBHD) and now have another private beta installer for you.

Whilst we are use case complete for the first release there are still a number of things to finish so we are running it as a private beta first. We'd like to get feedback from beta testers.

If you'd like to try out the private beta please note the following:

+ Don't put any money in it !  Ok - a few millis is fine.
+ Subscribe to the mailing list :     https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/multibit-hd-private-beta
(We are using the mailing list to coordinate the beta testing)
+ The code is at https://github.com/bitcoin-solutions/multibit-hd
This is currently a closed repo but if you post your github user name Gary will add you as a collaborator.
We have opening the repo on our list of things to do but there's a bit of tidying up to do first.

We are also creating a new website for MBHD but's it's not ready yet so the installers are just gdrive links at the moment.
I'll post the link details - which is PGP signed by Gary and bitcoin signed by me in a post after this one.

Regards

Jim
