Sicuramente il problema risiede sulla suddetta macchina, non ci sono caxxi....

Ho appena provato Multibit sul portatile, e per testarlo ho giocato su Satoshidice...ho perso un btc, quindi funziona !!!

Penso che il problema sia sul tuo computer allora, dovresti focalizzare sull'installazione del Java.

Avevo due icone di Java, update 9 update 13.

Disinstallato con successo la 13, la 9 non ne vuol sapere di cancellarsi...

Restart computer, riprovato ad installare la nuova versione Java, la versione 64bit si lascia installare, ma la 32 bit non ne vuol sapere e quando faccio partire l´installazione di Multibit, mi dice che non ho Java...

Prova a disinstallare Java e a reainstallarlo da capo.

Il programma non si lascia installare.

Mi chiede di scaricare ed installare Java (che e´gia installato sul mio comp).

Ho provato ad installare sia la versione Java a 32bit che a 64bit, ma appena parte con l´installazione mi dice che sul computer non c´e´Java installato...

Sul portatile invece funziona senza problemi.

Tutti e due i sistemi sono win7 64bit.

Qualcuno che possa illuminarmi ?

Ma in sintesi, secondo te, in cosa è migliore Multibit rispetto al client tradizionale?

Sinceramente, a meno che non si voglia 'contribuire' ad aggiungere nodi di scambio delle transizioni, non ha molto senso usare il client ufficiale che ha nella sua pesantezza nello scaricare TUTTE le transizioni la sua pecca maggiore.
Dei client alternativi sicuramente Multibit è il migliore
