This happen to me yesterday for the first time with multibit hd, I thought they have some issues but today its still the same. When I try to open wallet, after I wrote password I got this:
The password did not unlock the wallet.
And I can`t restore password, I can`t do nothing, for the first time I was on their site and when I click on Contact Us, nothing is happening. This is very annoying situation, how to find and install 0.4.1 version? I will search for it also, and after I move my coins from there I will not use this wallet ever again.

If you do a forum search you will find complaints about Multibit HD. Erratic operation, hanging, conflicts with firewalls and security software. Consider using Electrum latest release. There is no advantage to using Multibit over Electrum, and several reasons to use Electrum. It is stable and updated regularly. Fee estimation is very good, and you can send a transaction replaceable so if there is a delay you can bump the fee up. A really good all around wallet.

I had this "not recognized/failed" loging moving to 0.5.1 from 0.4.1. I followed a post on the forum and I was able to install the 0.4.1 version and get access to my wallet. Now, a few weeks later, again it's giving my issues. I cannot restore I cannot install 0.4.1 and restore. It asks for my words and when I give it I get the last message "Wallet is Synchronizing. Please wait until complete" . It does nothing after that!
What other options do I have? I've made backups of my wallet but I am losing faith in this app and the lack of forum discussion. Is this a viable wallet solution or should I just move on?
