Ok, I tried the accelerator linked in one of the threads here, and now I have a confirmation, hopefully that'll do it.

Thanks for the great resources here, hopefully I can can be useful to someone else here in the future!!

I know there's a lot of questions about unconfirmed transactions right now, and I apologize in advance for clogging up the works with another such issue...

I tried to send a transaction through multibit, and it got hung up as unconfirmed for a couple of days.  I am pretty much a total BC newb, but I managed to figure out that it probably put the transaction fee too low.  The advice I found was that it would fall off in a couple of days if no accepted, so I did wait.  Last night it was showing as having been removed at blockchain.info, but my wallet was still showing it as unconfirmed.  The problem is, it appears my wallet tried to resend the same transaction, so now I'm waiting again.  My balance is also unconfirmed, so I can't resend it with a higher fee.

Here's the transaction info:  blockchain.info/address/1JC8eBs2YTwBKG2yZCsDqKVrL5kzqZWp92

I just changed the recommended fee settings on my wallet, but I'm guessing it's probably a pretty safe bet it's no going to apply that to the pending transaction if it tries again.   I have repaired my wallet several times, and that doesn't change anything.

How do I get multibit to "forget" this transaction so it can go back to the state it was before I tried this transaction?  Or, alternatively, how do I get this transaction to push through?

Thanks in advance for any help, and apologies again for more of the same issues everyone else is coming for help on.
