Hi, I have this same problem. I have multibit HD 0.4.1, and I want to clear my unconfirmed transaction to add a larger fee, but the instructions on their website aren't available on my version. On the website it say to go to tools, and then click on the 'clear transactions' icon, whcih isn't there. Do you know another way? Thanks in advance..
Hi i have same problem. Using multibit HD version 0.4.1

tx id  0328aea81d78b63b2063a75524c6c91211e0d692d54c1fcc4366c1c3bfb2f894

trans. size 373 bytes      26.81 sat/B

Its been 24 hours and no confirmations. I'm assuming at this point my default  tx fee was too low.
had i known better (as i do now) would have set the fee to maximum.

Im wondering what my options are . Is there any way to cancel transaction or somehow insert the higher fee into
 the transaction?
Ive heard in doing nothing ,the transaction will eventually either confirm or simply be discarded and return to wallet.
im okay with that but is there anything i have to do my end and any time line on how long my wait could be?
1st time this has happened to me, and hopfully the last.

thanx
First of all, please do not hijack someone else's thread with your own issues. Make your own thread instead describing your own problem.

To clear all of the unconfirmed transactions from your wallet to allow you to send again, go to Manage Wallet > Repair Wallet.

Multibit 0.5.17

You can clear all of the unconfirmed transactions, however instructions for doing so depends on whether you are using MultiBit HD or MultiBit Classic. Once you clear all of the unconfirmed transactions out of your wallet, you can resend the transactions, but this time with a sufficient fee.

Maybe it is the classic. Im not sure. This is what i saw C:\Program Files\MultiBit-0.5.17
And i also saw a multibithd folder then i tried to click the .exe and the icon shows different from my wallet. It has HD inside the B of bitcoin while mine doesnt hav. So maybe it is classic what i have. So you mean i wont lose the bitcoin but i wont have it until i revert it. I hope i wont lose my bitcoin if i made a mistake reverting. I am  hoping for your guide. thanks
You are probably using Multibit Classic as it seems that Multibit HD has not yet gotten to 0.5.x releases yet. However it seems that Multibit classic does not support setting the transaction fee, so you won't be able to resend the transaction with a higher fee unless you migrate to a different wallet software.

Multibit HD or Multibit Classic?

So you mean the first one should finish first so others will continue too.
Yes, if your later transactions spend from the ones sent before it. Please post your txids so we can actually see if this will be the case.

My first transaction is in helix light grams then i waited too long so i decided not to tumble it and directly send to  alphabay Smiley but the same situation happened. Im afraid that if it will take days then i will reach the limit of 5 days of alphabay. So you mean it will surely confirmed because i already sent it in their address.
No. That is not how Bitcoin works. The transaction will either confirm, or it won't. If it does not, after a few days (usually 3 days), most nodes will "forget" the transaction. When this happens, your wallet will revert to a state in which the transaction did not happen (you may have to clear all unconfirmed transaction for that to actually happen).

Is there other way to make it fast? Should i use other wallet? thanks

You will not lose your Bitcoin, they do not magically just disappear.

Please post the transaction ids of your transactions.

What likely happened is that the transactions paid too low of a transaction fee. This will cause your transactions to be delayed. Furthermore, it is likely that your later transactions were spending the change from one of your previous transactions, and because the previous transaction is unconfirmed, the later one will be as well.

What version of Multibit are you using?

I sent 50 worth of btc to a site but almost 12 hours and not yet confirmed. Not even one confirmation so decided again to send 50 dollars worth of btc to other site and still unconfirmed in my wallet . I tried the 3rd time a 100 dollar bitcoin to an exchange but i see in my multibit wallet it still unconfirmed and not even 1 confirmation. Is there a possibility that my btc will be stucked and i lose all those btc? Is there a difference if i use the core wallet or other than multibit? thank you
