Unfortunately, that error is fairly "terminal"... once you get it, there really is no recovery except for trying to export your wallet keys and importing them into another wallet like Electrum. From my investigations, the version of BitcoinJ that MultiBit Classic and MultiBitHD are using is unable to handle some of the data included in new transactions. There are a number of examples of this error in the MultiBit subforum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=99.0
If you have a .key file backup or a .wallet file, you might be able to use my Python scripts to recover the keys: https://github.com/HardCorePawn/multibit_recovery/

Ive been using multibit classic since 2012. I wasnt aware until recently that its no longer supported or updated by devs. I had a large transaction sent to my wallet, and when I tried to load it I get this message

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried going into files and deleted Wallet.spv file. Ive done this twice now and waited for hours for block chain to reset.. However it still isnt loading my wallet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Id like to move to Electrum but I cant do anything until I get wallet to load.
