~/Library/Application Support/MultiBit/


You can see where any particular wallet is stored in the title of your MultiBit window.

i see. and whats the name of this file an where i can find this on my mac? or does multibit dont use such a file with the same functions lie the wallet.dat?

MultiBit uses a different wallet format than Bitcoin-Qt, they are not compatible.

is there no wallet.dat file like bitcoin qt has one? i want to switch them to an other pc. its very easy with the wallet.dat from bitcoin qt. how i can do this with multibit?

You can backup your private keys (which are contained in wallet.dat in the official client) as described here :

Hi i wanted to know where i can find my wallet-dat using multibit on a mac? i dont find the file...
