1. Does it change the mentality of the people towards using their services or not
2. Will it draw more users in consideration for their service or make no impact at all.
apart from houses that have a lot of children that washes DSTV and the fact that lovers of sports games make use of super sports for most of their games, the usefulness of multichoice has reduced and people even prefer to surf the social media or make use of Netflix or movie box for most of their entertainment needs. this three-day bonus is just a way of encouraging users to subscribe and in a way also encourage those that are regular subscribers.
by opening all the channels, you get to see some interesting channels you have not been watching because of the package you have been subscribing and that can give you the tendency of wanting to upgrade on your package which obviously is a win for the multi choice company. this is strictly business and nothing more.
3. Why can't they make all their packages to all users, having all the channels subscription opened, since no one can afford to watch two channels at the same time.
is that even possible? if i am not wrong, for each of the channel that is aired on their platform, they have to pay a certain amount and get some sort of permission for such to be displayed on their channel. if all the channels are shows once you have subscribed, then the cost of subscription will be pretty expensive and impossible for people to subscribe.
what they can do that will help could be to do it in such a manner that you
pay as you watch. because of light issues, even after you have done your subscription, some months you might not enjoy it up to 2 weeks which can be very discouraging to subscribe again the next month. the best way they can do that will show that they are concerned about the customers satisfaction is just to maintain this charge but let it be that your subscription only reads when you are using it.
