I am not aware of his-her political views, and I guess it doesn't matter in this case. There is no harm in asking IMO.

the government can not provide security to every citizens that is true, but the fact is there was a sign and warning about the srilanka attack before it happened. And the culprit's being Islamic terrorist's who have come out openly to admits to the attack is more reason why the government should swig into action and bring everyone involved to book and to face the law.

Sri Lanka is a nation of 25 million people and you can't expect the government to offer police protection to every religious institution. Yes.. the government was warned. But in a very vague way. There was no mention about the targets or the time of the attack. Moreover, no one expected these attacks to be in such a massive scale. Sri Lanka has no previous history of Islamic extremists blowing up at crowded places.

I would agree on some points.

The role played by Israel during the Syrian civil war was a very negative one. They were indirectly favoring the ISIS and the Al Nusra Front, by targeting the Syrian army units that were fighting against them. They justified these attacks saying that the Syrian government is providing support for the Hezbollah (and probably the Hamas). But is Hamas a far bigger threat when compared to Hamas? I don't think so.

If so-called 'ISIS' is an invention of U.S. and Israeli intelligence operatives (and a lot of us who follow these things believe it the case to over 99% probability) than what 'ISIS' is reported to proclaim is what U.S. and Israeli intelligence operatives proclaim.

If the 'credit for the attack' as reported in the mainstream media (usually via the organization operated by the lovely Rita Katz) then the event has next to nothing to do with 'the religion of peace' other than that some of the bullet stoppers who receive their paycheck from ISIS Inc have been influenced by their Saudi Wahhabist funded education with their textbook printed in the good ol' U.S. of A..

You can check last edit in op, according to Sri Lankan's authority it was retaliation.

They have taken the responsibility, but there is no clear statement from them. Is there any specific reason for the attack that took away the life of 300+ women, men and children. But prior notifications have been provided from the neighboring countries, but it wasn't taken seriously by the officials which is a big mistake.

Dude, go easy on yourself.  ISIS is just a bunch of mercenaries paid for by the U.S. (with my tax dollars), and directed by mainly the U.S. and Israel.  Nothing could be more clear to to someone like myself who watched the money move around and the group form before the text string 'I-S-I-S' was even put out there in the mainstream media properties.

The blowback targets the wrong people. The terrorists are cowards that go attacking people that have absolutely nothing to do with who harmed them. A few decades back, Sri Lanka was a peaceful multi-ethnic and multi-religious country, where everyone lived without any tension. Now there is a lot of hatred between various ethnic groups and various religious groups. I don't want to discuss about the ethnic factor, as it has been analyzed and studied many times.

The recent violence is a direct result of the Saudi Wahhabi brainwashing, which has been going on for the past 3 decades. With their petroleum revenue, the Saudis have been funding their extremist version of Islam (Wahhabism) in poor countries such as Sri Lanka and Indonesia. The group behind these attacks (National Thowheed Jamaath) has strong links to various Saudi Wahhabist organizations.  

Truly disgusting. May those who lost their lives rest in peace and may those responsible for these cowardly, vicious attacks be judged and punished harshly with extreme vengeance in this life and any hereafter there may be.

People from all faith and ideology should understand that "Two wrongs never make a right" in the end only innocent paying the heavy price.

Have tried numerous altercations which have shown me this isn't a space limiting issue, but probably related to the things mentioned. Was going to give a list of things Christians should do, debunk the claim by some that this was an act of re- ve ng-e, and that even if it was, it's still unjustifiable, what we can expect to continue, and some more. This is an absolutely horrible event. But it should be noted that this is not uncommon, it happens all the time, particularly Muslims against Christians, Jews, and other minorities, mostly in Muslim majority countries, been happening for about 1,400 years. The only reason you're probably hearing about it is because it's of the type and magnitude of an event which is hard to miss. And even then, it seems like they're still avoiding the main issue at hand. Christians need to remember to love, forgive, and stand up for the truth.


Here's what I've heard so far from the few sources I've seen:
*Obviously, it happened on Easter, and have been dubbed Easter Bombings.
This shouldn't be surprising, because every year (it seems) on major holidays that many Christians celebrate (like Easter and Christmas), there are attacks on churches, bombings becoming a favorite among Jihadis in recent years.

*Of 8 reported explosions, 3 were in churches.
Why attack churches? Or anyone at all for that matter, including the hotels? It should come as no surprise (but unfortunately it does to many people), but the Islamic sources are full of hatred of unbelievers (with an emphasis on Jews and Christians, as well as polytheists), extreme punishments for as little as "creating mischief" in the land, active and clear commands to fight unbelievers, and graphic examples of this being physically carried out by Muhammad and his men. It should be no surprise that Muslims who become more serious about following the Quran and words and examples of Muhammad in the  Hadith and Sunnah are more likely to commit such acts, which again, happen all the time, although you probably don't hear of the majority of them. Muhammad himself said that he had been made victorious through terror.

*Some of the bombers were suicide bombers.
Now, aside from Japanese Kamikazes in WWll, what other group is well known for constantly carrying out suicide bomber missions (on churches, buses, and other crowded public places I might add)? What religious group guarantees going to their twisted version of Heaven (with rivers of wine, at least 72 eternal virgins with big breasts, big eyes, and... translucent skin [ya, weird], increased sexual stamina, etc) if they die fighting for their god? The answer to both of these questions is the followers of Islam. Only carried out by devout followers of Islam who have the right personality traits (as Dr. David Wood points out in his video The Jihad Triangle [also see his video on the Three Stages of Jihad]): 1. knowledge (what do the sources actually say), 2. belief (you actually believe what the sources say), 3. obedience (you are willing to obey any commands that are given to you,

That's the reality we are living in. The news and social media focus on the negativity that people do, for example, those kinds of disastrous things. They mostly report those kinds of things maybe because of political reasons and also for the "views" that they so much want and the "ratings". I think having the negativity spread easily rather than those who are good things.

What really irritates me is that its only a small percentage of humans that are truly evil but they are the ones that hold all the power.  Those psycho types are able to manipulate their way up to the top and feel zero sympathy for others.

Hey indeed it’s a unfortunate incident that has happened in Srilanka, just last year I was there where the blasts took place and I have to say the locals are really nice people. I had suspected it and now it’s confirmed it was a local terrorist organisation, they were behind this cowardly act. Also there was a warning just 10 days ago about the attack on churches, which was blatantly ignored by their officials they too should be held accountable for this mass murder. My prayers are with the dead and the victims families, I hope they find the strength to move on and resume their lives.

Damn, it's really devastating news to see, it's like the world is continuously degrading to the "animals" that we are. I saw a recent post where the humans are degrading animal life also, disrupting the natural cycle. I saw in a post that if animals have a religion, Humans are the evil things that inhabit the world.

When people are every chance to correct their behavior and all the understanding in the world and all they do it continue to attack, the response is usually merciless. This is some thing I don't think the loudest of voices really understand. There is a window here where resolution is possible... after that point history shows there will be nothing but rivers of blood until one or both sides are crushed. Christianity and the West in general has no desire to crush Islam, however many Islamists are quite open about their desire for global domination under the caliphate. As I have said before, Christians are peaceful and tolerant, until they are not, then Allah help you because no one else will.

Guns don't kill human but human killing fellow humans. I just watch the mews on the news and it so disheartened that a lot of people are getting killed day by day human life have no value any more. Everyday we hear of bomb blasting and gun shooting in my country as a third world we live with wars and rumors of war may God come to our rescue.

That's unfortunate incident in Srilanka. May our good God give them the fortitude to bear the lost. Why on Easter day? the doers are the haters of the body of Christ, they cannot silent the body of Christ, Christ died and rose again, which today is the remembrance day. They will not escape the wroth of God upon the innocent souls they have just wasted.     

We are living in fucked up world where human life doesn't matter much these days. everyday bad news keeps coming out. Last month shooting in New Zealand mosque before that suicide bomber attack on Indian forces. Recently one of our fellow bitcoiner "Elwar" got in trouble.

And now multiple Bomb blasts in Srilanka. Perpetrators targeted 3 hotels and 3 churches  when they were holding Easter services this morning. At least 160 died and more than 500 people Injured in this heinous attack.

As of now no group took responsibility for this attack and according to news Srilanka authorities didn't gave any official statement and details regarding investigation.

Last night I found out that one of my colleague went missing in the Srilanka, I used to work with him and was not in contact with him for a while. one of my OZ client contacted me and said that he's missing since the bombing and he's not able to contact him. i tried to contact him but no response so far, I can only pray for him that he and his family members are safe.

My friend is safe in srilanka.

Dead toll revised by Srilanka and Health minister said that 253 people died instead of 359 in this terrorist attack.

After identifying the bombers community is shocked that some of them were not poor or uneducated people but millionaires and belongs to good families.
