Oh, you're talking about literally copying the address to the offline computer. I'm not sure what I thought you meant XD

usb, cd, handwritten, whatever. A code is a code, it'll still work no matter where it's stored. An address is an address with (x)Bcoin value. Methinks ....

Well you can get a bog standard laptop that works for about $150 nowadays ... that's one bitcoin. That way you have a secure, disconnected wallet that you never have to worry about. I'd not trust a phone to keep them, for sure.

That does seem like the best way, but not exactly the most cost effective as of currently :p

From what ive gathered the best best to keeping a wallet secured is to purchase a cheap laptop that never connects to the net (no malware, spyware, etc) and instantly back up every wallet address on that. Or even write them out by hand so you have a physical copy of the addresses you need to ask for BTC at blockchain.
