He explained that the comments he made to WTTG-TV were intended to simply preview Fox News' Tuesday story. The WTTG-TV news director did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
"I only got that [information] from the reporter at Fox News," Wheeler told CNN.
Asked about a quote attributed to him in the Fox News story in which he said his "investigation up to this point shows there was some degree of email exchange between Seth Rich and Wikileaks," Wheeler said he was referring to information that had already been reported in the media.
A Fox News spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment by the time of publication.

Your side is trying its damndest to misattribute the Russian thing, and the attempts make you want to look even harder at Russia, because of how flimsy the effort to distract/mislead is. If Russia didn't happen, let the investigation happen. Shouldn't be anything to find, right? He's stated many times his hands are clean. Shut the libtards up once and for all; why all the conjecture about what happened? The side that believes him guilty isn't even making assumptions on how it happened. A fine use of rhetoric here, this is pretty clean. Let me point out some issues:

1)  Victor Thorn is the most legit claim of this article. My problems with his death; there certainly was a motive to kill him, if the Clintons are what you say, but why did they wait til his birthday, the day he would be most likely to be in contact with his social network/family, to come kill him on his mountaintop home? Operational security aside, this would be a nightmare job. To many unknown unknowns, extracting from a mountaintop could be problematic without cover, etc. The idea that he walked outside and killed himself makes alot more sense. Esp since it was his bday, statistically, would be about right.

2)  Shawn Lucas was a process server in a viral video. Don't see how offing him advances the agenda. Didn't have sensitive information, wasn't connected. So, the explanation that he died from an opiod overdose (oh, and kratom, my bad I forgot), seems really plausible. Contrary to the article, most people don't voluntarily sleep on the bathroom floor when there is a bed with a girlfriend in it, so very close. Also, his death was unnecessary optics that were predictable, wouldn't have been worth the risk for this seeming non gain.

3)  Seth Rich, oh somebody did that shit. You don't get mugged in DC with a wallet intact. But the Clintons? I see a reach to attribute this to her. See an overzealous gov agent capping him, the FBI in the preliminary throes of its Trump investigation (becuase this was going on even before he was elected). People aren't stupid. The leak was illegal, would have been much better to make him a whipping boy. Would have painted RNC collusion against the DNC, would have sold the public on a DNC vote. And the emails/info was already passed. Killing him again didn't 'advance the agenda' so to speak.

I see an article using sourced rumors to perpetuate a long running theme: Satanic, kid fucking Clintons. I certainly believe Bill has had a few young girls, but systemic pedophilia for both him and his wife, no. Also, they are Christian. Hillary might have even been raised Evangelical, I think I read.

The murders seem to swirl around the Clintons. (I'd like to blame some of them on Obama lol), but they really do seem to be around the Clintons. I think it's fair to say a lot of people would disagree with "the gov killed him," because this goes back to when Bill Clinton was president and back beyond that, to when he was Governor.

This is all real. I'm not really sure what's going on, but it's been one of those "where there's smoke there's fire" kind of things. If Trump has kicked the Clintons out of the power systems he's done everybody a favor.

Wheeler also told Hannity point blank that the family hired him and that his source said Seth Rich was in contact with Wikileaks.

Don't let the families fear get in the way of the biggest story of the decade. Obviously the family is scared of something.

When you look at that, with the totality of everything else that I found in this case, it’s very consistent for a person with my experience to begin to think, 'Well, perhaps there were some email communication between Seth and Wikileaks.'"

But a spokesman for Rich's family on Tuesday said Wheeler was not authorized to speak for the family and called assertions Seth Rich sent emails to WikiLeaks "unsubstantiated." Brad Bauman said even if purported emails were to surface, it would not necessarily mean Rich had helped WikiLeaks.

"Even if tomorrow, an email was found, it is not a high enough bar of evidence to prove any interactions as emails can be altered and we've seen that those interested in pushing conspiracies will stop at nothing to do so," Bauman said. "We are a family who is committed to facts, not fake evidence that surfaces every few months to fill the void and distract law enforcement and the general public from finding Seth's murderers."

But, unofficially a federal investigator (according to Fox) has said emails exist, but the investigation is stalled. We will see, but I'm thinking this one might be bunk. If it is true and he did get wrapped up in some shit, it will get buried in the Trumpian news cycle.
