Have you ever produced a concept album like Dark Side by Pink Floyd?
Hi!  i have an experience with a modern psychedelic and Krautrock bands, which are playing in a "Neo-Pink Floyd" style)
Also Jimmy Douglass (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Douglass) and Tim Palmer (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Palmer) are big friends of mine, and we have a lot of conversations about U2, Led Zeppelin and other classic rock bands albums

Jimmy works on Television- Marquee Moon record as a mixing-engineer and tells me a lot of interesting stuff about the sessions =)

Op, Can you actually hear the difference between vinyl and cd?

In terms of music oviously the same but in the technique and way of playing and scratching by dj's theres a difference. Specially nowadays a lot new modern hardware ro use. But classic technique is awesome.
Sure, you're right. I never try to scratch on Cds, just a traditional vinyl scratches)

Hi! It's a good question =) Technically, when you have a very expensive CD-setup, it sounds more clear, than vinyl
But for regular users there's a big difference, yes. You know, i'd like to have a few copies of my favourite albums - on CD, vinyl and on a tape, if it's possible.
Cos each press of each albums sounds different)
I have a lot of buds and customers, who have, for example, 20-30 vinyls of each album of Pink Floyd or King Crimson, and they all sounds different! Cheesy

Personally I use not very expensive equipment about $20 000 for the full stack - and yes, i always hear the difference.

I know how to dj but only by the use of controllers. In terms of vinyls its kind a hard for because I never tried and it I xan afford it. I believe that people who used vinyl is a skillfull one. So whoever djs who used vinyls and CDs are the classic one but the skillfull one. For me you can try this.
