i know this is an old thread but get on that musicoin, it looks very promising now. back when they said both were crap it wasnt doing well.
no one really knows what coin is gunna do well, fail, make a comeback or just BLOW UP! i like my odds in this mining game better than the lottery.

I dont know about soundchain but i expect a good jump from Musicoin. Musiconomi crowdsale is almost starting i m sure that it is going to affect on the price of musicoin. Moreover there are many people mining musicoin and i dont think they will sell their coins without a good raise.

The fact that Musicoin is mined, I believe, is a positive, as it draws energy from the crypto communinty. It gives it a more independent and firm foundation.

So really, ArtByte is the only coin that has a working platform for musicians and it went live a year ago or so. The other two are not developed yet.

This is wrong, Musicoin has been active since February 2017.
The last I checked Soundchain it was about the same as most music cryptos, talk about how they will help the artist, but no working model.

Musicoin is the only one that has consistently given rewards. Numerous people can vouch for the money they've made mining it. Musicians are uploading music. People are listening. It has also done some world firsts, like fully enabling the DJ mix. Actually a world's first.

Artbyte is good too. But Musicoin, for music, is better, and blows everything else out of the water right now.

I think musicoin has huge potential, but I'm coming at it from a music producer point of view, not an investor. So much of the music industry is basically middlemen injecting themselves between the artist and the rest of the world taking a little piece here and there, death by a thousand cuts. MUSIC has the potential to do away with a lot (not all) of that. This technology can be disruptive to performing rights orgs (ASCAP, BMI, etc), publishing houses, record labels, etc. What this tech does not address is the age old issue of creating excitement for the artists, the marketing aspect, the social aspect, getting the artist to the right audience; the professionals that do that work will continue to be valued. However, in terms of trackable contract based transactions the tech is almost tailor made for the way the music industry works. Still very speculative of course but like I said from a music industry perspective it got my attention. I don't know about soundchain but will look it up, if it is similar then that's actually a good thing long term for viability of approach.

MUSICOIN would have a new platform called MUSICONOMI and it will be kickstarted by Cofound.it soon, and two other X8currency and Santiment. Cofound.it I think has high reputation, pre-sale max out, no more croudfunding opening. and since the are dev before of ICONOMI and team have high reputation as well.

Good point. Cofound is reputable and professional. Also have good experiences beuce of ICONOMI. I think they'll have good impact on MUSICOIN team. If we see huge crowdsale I won't be surprised.

MUSIC is battle between hyperinflation and ultra-hype...
Not really a buy and hold coin, more of a miner and trader alt.

I don't see either of those coins getting any significant following.
The mainstream music industry just won't let it happen and I'm not talking about some crazy conspiracy, just that they will never let artists that are signed with them support something like this.

It might be fairly successful among independent producers some time in the future, but it will always remain a niche.

Never heard of SOUNDCHAIN.
I bought a bit MUSICOIN while it was traded on Cryptopia. Then sold them on Bittrex. It was good deal for me. And I like their works.

Becoming legend, but I took merit to the knee :(
Both are crap and not for long term holding. Member Spotify?

I concur with both are crap, Spotify isnt, it's still alive and well, the only reason it is dying is because labels want more and more payments

They both have the same market, MUSIC INDUSTRY. But which one do you think has the competative advantage that would be great to invest for a long time?
