This one seems to be fake news, copied from some satire website. First of all, Bitcoin can never become popular in the Islamic nations. Because the average IQ of the people there is somewhere around 60 and they will struggle to understand the technology behind the digital currency. And secondly, if one scholar allows the usage of BTC, ten others are going to issue fatwas against its usage.

This news should positively affect the price of the cryptocurrencys. The Muslim market is very promising. I think that the people of the Muslim world will start buying up cryptocurrencies with insane force.
I see the sarcasm there and i never knew that Islamic clerics should be the ones to decide whether a business opportunity is ideal for Muslims to invest into in the first place, if Muslims were all waiting for this report before they started ti invest into Bitcoin then i believe that they have lose some valuable opportunity and time.

Well they can argue whether it's legal to have sex with a corpse or not, what's important to me is that those religious people that listen to these guys got the go signal to start buying bitcoins. Any endorsement is good to widen the user base.

LOL why do these clerics all need to relate everything to their religion? I still remember that thing about women and swimming in seawater.
Anyway, seems the pronouncement worked and it was that easy to convince these people to try bitcoins. As for the KSA government, they seem concerned about their future anyway. The oil crash visibly shook them. The new crown prince basically extorting members of the royalty they charged with "corruption" is a hint they are worried with their cash flow.

This is important information for Muslims. The Muslim people did not take the cryptocurrencys seriously without the approval of religion. Among them there should be many investors. The cost of bitcoins is likely to increase in connection with this event.
