Christians and Muslims have far more in common than Fox News would have you believe. For starters, most people who take faith seriously see the Democratic party as the party of gay/trans rights, even pushing it in schools at young ages, while they see Republicans trying to prevent the influence on younger people. Democrats are seen as pushing for women's rights, while the Republican party is seen as the one pushing for family rights. Right or wrong, that's the common perception.

The Democrats can be the party of Pro-Immigrant all they want, but if they continue to be seen as the party that attacks traditional family values that all religious people hold, it's only a matter of time before Muslims switch.

So you are implying Muslin people who are plotting against the democrat party are supposed to be allies of the Republican party or something like it?
I think it would be very unlikely for the Republican party to even think of accepting the Muslim people as part of their ranks and party, specially since the Republican party has started to move even more into Christianity and even showing some traits of islamophobia. Don't you remember the muslim scare in the 2000s, when all the United States and the west was freaking out on the Muslims? Much of it was thanks to the politics of George Bush after 9/11 happened.
Democrats will continue to support the muslin community, that is predictable, but the Muslim community won't give back the same support they have been shown. It is not a secret they are more loyal to eastern values than a party

Well, with all the stigma and paranoia which is goin on in the United States and the integrity of their democracy (which is sustained by voters) to me it is kind of a surprise the federal government has not declared that kind of activity (selling ones vote) to be a class C felony or something.
Also, while I don't have doubts there would be people in the USA who sell their vote for a little bit of money (specially in swing states), I will be personally careful before giving this news/investigation some credit.
it is easy to fall for articles deliberately designed to point out against some minority groups like Muslin people in the USA.
