Power is not that cheap in India its 0.06-0.10$
Salary is debatable so lets leave

Actually, that's not true. Power rates here are not uniform throughout the country. There are some states that have exceptionally dirt cheap rates. And they are also very suitable for a large-scale mining setup. If only the political atmosphere regarding cryptos were a little fairer, we would soon see large scale mining plants being set up in those states pretty soon.

I dont think india's infastructure can handle mining and I dont see why any government will want to subsidize electricity for miners.

i live in indo0china border, most of people shift out, so government is giving electricity and water for just maintenance cost .

I am following this topic since november but still no pictures or hard facts? I know that it is hard work to build a farm like that, especially when your i-net providers screws you up, but maybe you can post a picture of the status of today? At the moment it looks like sharing your amazon affiliate link ^^

sorry as i was busy, i was like 3000 km from home for few months, there was no amazon affiliate link(check post edit history as well ), link is usual amazon link lol there is no amazon affiliate in india. anyways i removed it and added router modal for those who want them.

government and banks are getting strict on bitcoin, so i would like to be anonymous.

right now, they are closing bank accounts of people, and this post is drawing too much traffic from google.

If the mechanical design for the farm is correctly designed then the HVAC would have an integrated dehumidifier.

IIf a farm is correctly designed you dont have anything other than fans moving air. Air conditioning is the number 1 enemy of profitability.

In norway the median salary is 19300$ with power prices @ 0.05 US Dollar with today's prices.

All this information i gathered by google, and the median sallary is divided by all citizens.
Looks a bit more expensive in Norway: http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php/Electricity_price_statistics

Don't you have major powercuts there?

I remember when I worked in the Tamil Nadu, the power shortage was a nightmare.
Why ? Usually not that bad
Why? Because the region needed about 50% more electricity than what was produced.

OP has been in talks about doing this with me from around August / September last year and going by what he described, he seemed genuine to me at that time. Besides, if he is unresponsive on the forum for a while, it does not imply that he got robbed. That's a silly assumption, even for the sake of a rhetoric statement.

Powercuts are a daily occurence in any major city in India.

Not in Tier 1 Cities they are not anymore
Tier 2 and Tier 3 maybe but still the power is quite cheap it's around 0.06-0.12 USD/unit depending on where you are

CONGRATULATIONS!

Get a shit ton of silica gel packets and install it inside the rooms. It should help with the moisture to some extent. When the profits start churning in, consider investing in a dehumidifier.

Those silica gel will need 2 be heated up to release the moisture also. Not so good.

Architect here. What humidity level are you talking about - percentage wise.

The humidity level in IT rooms can range between 45 to 85%. This is ok. But ideally 40 to 50% should be the range to aim for. The problems normally arise when there is a rapid temperature drop. For example if temperature is hot and humidity is high and the temperature quickly falls, then moisture can drop out of the air and appear on hardware.

The question that might need to be asked is where the humidity is coming from. Miners don't sweat. I hope you don't have many people in the room. I suspect its outside air. Is the outside air being dumped into the farm unconditioned?

If the mechanical design for the farm is correctly designed then the HVAC would have an integrated dehumidifier.

Chances are it juz rained and then the sun comes out strongly. The air is hot and humid then.
The problem wif a dehumidifier is that it heats up the air.

PICS COMING SOON, once ventilation work is done !

CURRENT : PROBLEMS

1> MOISTURE + MIST IN ENVIRONMENT
2> Wirings Are Not Good, Was Using Aluminium, switch to copper soon

For wires, whether you stick with aluminum or go with copper, make sure they're sized properly. Most electricians I've seen in India will undersize the wire and this causes the wire to melt in the wall. Same reason it's always "when the wire melts" not "IF".

I always recommend a wire that's one gauge (or thickness level so .5-1.0mm in your case) thicker than needed for the breaker size. This way if there's an issue the breaker will trip and wire won't overheat/melt.

Moisture, there's a solution there too. Sent you a PM.

Really great to hear. More wishes to extend this farm and run more. Is that really 0.2 INR per unit? Because it looks like free electricity almost
I am waiting to see your farm. There are many places in india with high eletricity charges.
Happy to see that much profits. But am little afraid about GST rates since indian government is imposing much taxes on people. it created many problems since it affects small scale industries.
You guys are lucky to have low electric charges

In India electricity rate is almost 7-8 INR kWh which is 0.12 USD kWh.

That's amazing work bro, profit per day is 79,000INR so it is more than $1000.I hope your farm will continue to give that same rewards. But I f you have plan of building another farm then build a mining farm or monero(XMR) because this mining is more cheaper and more profitable than bitcoin mining.

What he should be discussing and thinking about is how long it will take him to ROI on those miners since electricity costs don't seem to be cutting into his overhead costs.
That is minus any downtime when you have those miners starting to go down one by one.
You got to be realistic here you know.

There always will be a hardware failure running machines 24/7 no matter how the environment favors you in a colder climate than most of the entire country is hot most time of the year.

Really great work guys. Its very good to hear Indians build big mining farm.because am also from india(south) here the electricity cost is bit high compared with J&K also its very cool environment which is good to handle the heat from miners.
I am not sure if i run mining with 3rs per KWH will give some decent profits

Whoa! Great man, nice work. But it would be so great once you show up the picture. Im eager to see your mining farm. What was the excise duty that India government imposed on you, I heard that the GST thing is getting everything very costlier in the India. The import fees are more than 28% for any products that you bring into Indian borders. I mean don’t you think that was very costly affair.

The electricity seems to be very low and you can enjoy the free electrocyte to mine over million per day. I don’t know those units but after conversion it looks near to million to me. Thats crazy investment with S9, and you got 10 of those. Thats cool man. Hoep you will share the data statistics here as well as some pictures of this cool mining rig.

This is one of the most profitable project I ever seen. Low electricity cost is a plus, 0.007$/KWH is almost negligible.
To be accurate, 640$ is the daily profit from your farm, (I used a Bitcoin mining profit calculator).

I would like to see pics and to hear more about your experience.
