I can assure you all it wasn’t for plagiarism. I never copied anyones post or copy and pasted any posts on different threads. I made 2 typical posts on threads and the mod seemed to think they weren’t good enough to be kept. I really hope a mod has a look into this for me.

I could speculate that you have an identical IP address which is being abusively used by other user and gets ban. So the account that connected to that IP address will also be ban
This is not true,i doubt if one could get banned simply cos of identical IP addresses
Yes,no one is getting banned because of using same IP address on different accounts because there are lot of people using VPN to access bitcointalk so most of the time the IP address can same for many different users.

The evil scores were only for the IP address which is used to create that account and start abusing the forum people.

The forum hardly goes through that to ban a user, I think the most reason people get banned is plagiarism
You could be wrong with IP addresses but plagiarism is blatant when Caught

The issue of banned users having to open new accounts to appeal their ban has to be addressed already, it creates lots of accounts which goes inactive as soon as the appeal thread is done, and it would also get banned if the ever outside their appeal thread.

A board for Ban Appeals could be opened, and banned users will only be allowed to post on it, and the community can discuss it or give reasons for the ban.
Locked accounts can also be allowed to post there.

You are right if a section is open to appeal for ban account that will help the meta section a lot as all appeal will be Chanel to that section, and back to the poster a ban don't happen by mistake and as you stated that your two post were deleted for being off topic replies. What I always advice new members to do is that your first assignment in this forum is to read the rules and get your self at home with the laws guiding bitcointalk, no copy and pesting no plagiarism this offences call for a permanent ban.

I had messages showing the posts that were deleted but I no longer have those messages.
You're not giving us much to go on here. Admins don't recover hacked accounts, so I don't think a nuked Newbie will be a priority. I think your chances of getting unbanned are close to zero (a very small chance of an accidental ban multiplied by a very small chance Admin looks at your case).

I’m not giving much to go by here because I dont know if there is anything to go by. If they thought my posts lacked relevance then maybe a warning or something would have been adequate. I don’t know how to take this further because I don’t want to make a 2nd account to use. I only made this to make a post appealling my ban.

If you have known someone connected in your internet or your alt accounts that has been ban will probably let this new account being ban.
There could be some reason for this also like misbehaving properly in the forum, promoting scam activities and other offensive violations for the forum. For all the forum rules and regulations refer to the sticky threads on this section.

The only thing I could possibly think of is that both of my posts were deleted in quick succession? Even still, I feel they were not bad enough to seek any sort of ban. I’m so confused right now and don’t know what to do now to get this sorted.

I honestly think I haven’t done anything wrong intentionally to deserve a “nuke” or permanent ban. Does the moderators ever look at these posts?
From what I've seen, theymos takes incorrect bans very seriously. However, most bans are correct (think about >99.9%).
Can you quote the posts that been deleted? I've searched my own archives, but didn't find any posts after September 12 (which is when I started keeping track; you were nuked 4 days later).

I was banned in late January. I had messages showing the posts that were deleted but I no longer have those messages.

Since you have no post history anymore I cannot help you with that.
Only Mods can give you such info. But if you are nuked, I'm pretty sure you are not getting your old account back. I know of only one case lately of one user being unbanned because of misquoting, but those are really rare occasions.

I honestly think I haven’t done anything wrong intentionally to deserve a “nuke” or permanent ban. Does the moderators ever look at these posts? I don’t want to have a 2nd account but this was literally the only way I could post and try and appeal my ban. My first email for sent back in January, the 2nd was last night. So you can see why I am frustrated Sad

The problem is, we can't really see the original posting history because its been nuked so its hard to see what might be the real cause, probably plagiarism or probably you just spam post or join bounty airdrop or something. So only the mods can gave you the direct answer.

It couldn’t have been plagiarism, I only made 2 posts and they were totally dofferent from each other and anything anyone else had posted. Do mods ever check these posts? I just want to get my account back so I can make legitimate posts and show that I am genuinely using the forums for educational purposes and to help others when possible. Especially since I have grown more and more bullish on the Cryptocurrency space since first entering it in January this year.

Yeah thats what I am trying to say. I 100% have not been banned from that I didn’t copy any other post or create multiple of the same post. Thats why I am thinking it might have been a mistake to perm ban me? I have emailed the ban appeals address to no reply a couple of times. (i don’t want to spam email it)

The two posts were deleted on seperate occassions because they werent “needed” or something on the thread I think the messages said. So it isn’t as if I have gone totally over the line. I hadn’t been giving a temporary ban or anything previously.

You have been nuked. I guess you have crossed the line quite a lot to get yourself nuked. Probably plagiarims ( copy-pasting someone else's work and posting it as yours)
https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=cBenton92

As the rule states, and we the community have reiterated numerous times,a banned account is not only a ban to the very account, but it stretches also to the owner of the account
Thus when you a user/member gets banned, its permanent and you're only allowed to stay on read mode, and an attempt at creating another account to keep posting or sending pm's will be tagged as ban evasion, and if caught will be banned likewise(Forever/permanently)

There are also temporary bans but you get notification for the period you will be restricted from using your account.

I totally understand that.

I just don’t feel that I done any wrong doing. My posts werent 2/3 word posts and I wasn’t abusive or anything like that. My posts were in length and on topic to whatever the thread was about. I just don’t understand what rules I may have broken?

Hi there,

I had my other account banned and I was postibg to see if I ould possibly have it unbanned?

Username: cBenton92

Now it was a new account I had just discovered this forum and I had only made 2 or maybe 3 posts I think.
I then got 2 messages saying 2 of my posts were not needed on the threads and were deleted. Then it came up saying I had been banned from a moderator and unable to post or personal message. I had to make this account and atone “50 units of evil” or something just so i could make this post. I would obviously prefer to be able to use my original account.

Thanks.
