If the OP installs and performs a virus scan on the device without reinstalling the device, will the hacker still have access to the device?

My BTT password is the strongest password I have ever created and I have never signed up on any other platform with the same password. From the IP, I have found the account was hacked from Pakistan. I will try install malwarebyte and run system scan for possible malware especially the "Backdoor.teamviewer.trace"

You should consider a different ISP or VPN provider? Avoid windows OS? I'd like to know the best practices as well.

No one knows what kind of information did the hacker obtained and thus all defenses should be up. I also highly advise you to run a full AV scan or a Malwarebytes scan prior to changing passwords in other websites you may use so that you may be certain that you're safe (or at least erase that possibility out of your list).

My account above was hacked yesterday 26/08/2021. The hacker changed both my password and email address to a new one. I have locked the account via the link sent to me.
