Quoted for record.

When that hack exactly happened? Because I can't see it in trust wall:

Perhaps this account was hacked https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=662264 ?

As I understand it, your attacker is currently using your account because your account was active today. http://prntscr.com/l2bymv

From 30 September it nor any posts on the forum wrote. So you have a chance to recover
As an option, my advice to you can ask the moderators time to clarify the situation on hacking, you may write the trust message with ratings Depth 1 So this account can not sell.

As far as I know, theymos is not recovering account anymore. So, the hope of recovering your account is near 0. You can wait and see the update from theymos regarding recovering account. I think soon there will be some easier way to recover hacked account.

BTW, can you please fix your title? thymos  Grin to theymos

Yeah, but there's been no word whether that effects previously staked addresses or if you have to input an address again. I imagine existing accounts that have been lost would still need to be manually processed.

Like with most of the recent updates, it will just be dropped on us one day. If the new system is automatic as has been floated around, they might need to be manually handled. The list isn't getting any shorter so they may be waiting at this point in hopes of cutting the list down, if the new system can automatically restore some of the backlogged accounts.

Depending on the system they use, I really don't know if it's possible to automate account recovery based on verifying signatures. Even so I think everyone would have to input the address they are staking in their profile as opposed to staking it on the forum itself.

I've tagged it. Note that you'll have to sign another message after recovery for me to remove the tag.
Thankyou for tagging the account.
I will sign another message after recovery.

I really don't understand people like that. Where does the Bitcointalk account come from? Ignore everything, if a negative trust is given, the account will not be used. I really don't understand that.

The most recent update I have seen was in mid august where Theymos said he hoped to have account recovery back up to snuff by the end of the year. No promises.

The only way to lock the account is from the email, so you may need to gain access to that first. Did you ever sign a message? if so and you can do it again you might at the very least get the account tagged by DT.

Just be prepared to wait a while... Some accounts have been waiting a year now I think.

Recently a hacker got into my gmail.
He changed the recovery email and phone number which makes me unable to access my mail back.
He also than changed the password for my bitcointalk account.
Is there any way i can get back my account?
I have all my previous passwords if needed.
Link to my account:- https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/hajimasan-808820
Scammer changed the password recently.
Atleast can i lock my account so that it is not used in any kind of scam?

Edit: I already wrote to theymos about it.

Below is the signed messege from the address i once posted.
