The heat is a real killer for me, and I have to stay out of the sun, I burn very easy.

It's a mild 15 c right now in Liverpool I still find that a bit warm for me, sleeping is hard to do even at those low temperatures.
I still have a pedestal fan running at night.

One thing I dislike about air conditioners, is that they give me a sore throat, weird isn't it.
I guess I love the cold better than summer season. Cheesy

And its fucking hot out. All the local stores are already closed and I need to wait till tomorrow to go buy a new AC unit. It's so bad I'm thinking about renting an hotel for the night.

Has anyone ever been in this situation before.

Our condolences.

well i don't think that you should go to hotel, you can just open all windows and it will be good for that night, you will have good sleep too

Africans are generally used to a hot climate, but a few have air conditioners. They mostly just open the windows and use fans.

And that's enough to cool them off?

Oh my God!

Seriously?

You've never lived in Africa, have you?

You should count your blessings.

No I have not but I do believe even in Africa people have air conditioners. Not all of them but some do.

Oh yeah over here.
Three years ago I used to live in Saudi Arabia and something went wrong with the electricity distributed that all ACs in the apartment stopped working

God dammit. It was the worst day I've ever witnessed.
You really don't know or can't even imagine how high the temp goes over there.
Spent the whole night in sweat and literally couldn't stay indoors that I took my dads car keys and sat in it for 4 hours in the ac alone; )

Actually. I do understand. I'm in Dubai. Smiley Its almost 5 am here and still 34 degrees.
Fuck me. The store opens in a few hours. I'll go get one then but it sure does feel better knowing others have been in this situation.
