I think that instead of "THIS is how you request a loan, people." what it really shows is:
If you stick around for a while, and if you contribute to the forums and community, and if you build a real reputation, then look how easy it is to get a loan. In fact you will have lenders falling over each other to lend to you.
If you head directly to the lending threads right out of noob jail then the above does not describe you and you will be seen as a likely scammer.
