I wanted to get some thoughts on this finding....

Alot of people are bashing hynix, and Micron, and glorify Samsung but noticed alot of those people own lower end cards like gigbyte, sapphire, xfx, vision tek, powercolor.

Don't kill me for saying lower end cards, essentially they are all the same but doesn't higher brands like MSI and ASUS use different hardware like capacitors, circuitry, etc...

I am only bringing this up because i had a 2 gigabyte rx580s, along with 2 asus rx580s they all had Samsung memory but only the gigabytes gave me issues every damn day.

My new MSI Micron build im pushing +600 now with 50 powerlimit and not a single hiccup in 4 days of straight mining, i will be pushing even higher in the next day or two.

Please what are your thoughts on my findings.

Dont dual mine with Nvidia. You lose more profit from the reduced ETH hash than the secondary coin will get you.

deadsix! Tongue ty for the help last week. i was comparing numbers and your right, but im banking on the 2nd coin to gain some profit in the next few months/years.
i only lost like .125 per card not even a quarter hash. but i will retest since i did that test when i had 4 cards an not 8.
i am going long term here nothing i mine will be cashed in.

Not true. I find more profitable dual mining with 7x nvidia 1060 than solo eth

Is ETH more profitable than ZEC on the 1060s?

Seems to be, maybe 5-10% more for ETH, at least so far for me.  I'm running one 1060 and one 1070.  I'm getting an RX 580 next week and will compare.
Some people modify the bios to get a good hashrate, do you do it?

There is nVidia bios mods? i thought that was only for AMD?

Nvidia 10xx series have bios encrypted, so no legit modbios available. Everything u can find on the web gone broke ur GPU 90%.
I dont know about 1060, i use 1070 ( i dont check the VRAM dealer, cause i am on linux, i dont have the tools to get me this info )
On 1070 u can push : -200 Core Clock / +1650 Mem Clock / Power limit : 125 / TempMax : 60c
31.5 mh/s + 29.5mh/s on ETH+LBC on -dcri30
31.5mh/s + 560mh/s on ETH+SC on -dcri50 ( not tested for 1 week )

For the time being yes, ETH is a bit more profitable.

Micron Memory on Gaming (X) cards? Well done MSI.

If I read it correctly, Gigabyte uses only Samsung\Hynix memory on their UD VGA series. And it's almost all models, including ITX ones.

These are regular gaming, not the gaming X series. All micron memory which is nice, i dont have to OC each card with different memory.
https://us.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-GTX-1060-GAMING-6G.html#hero-overview

I kinda gathered that info from reading alot of threads here, it was a gamble with that card an no one mentioned micron memory for their gigabytes.
Im happy with the micron memory, i pushed it all the way past +600 (24 MH/s) without any crash but dropped it back to a safe +400 for the sake of breaking in the cards for atleast 48 hours.
Seems like alot of people think hynix is junk?
