Binance won't refund you unless you have proven that the security flaw is on their side, same thing with the FBI and your local PD most likely don't know a thing about cryptocurrency lol.

There must have been a security flaw on your side so think back and analyze what might have created a flaw e.g. check your history if you logged in to the right site.

Sounds exactly the same problem: https://www.reddit.com/r/BinanceExchange/comments/7w3hm2/binance_account_hacked_is_there_anything_i_can_do/

PLEASE BEWARE. DONT KEEP COINS ON BINANCE! I used to think it was safe but i literally just lost almost 500,000 dollars and nobody is doing anything about it.

This actually applies on every exchanges, No coins should be kept for a long time.

They wont really give any support or refund on the funds stolen.Ive seen similar cases but still remained unanswered by the exchange itself. It would really be puzzling yet 2fa been set out and no one can easily bruteforce to logged in unless if theres a flaw and pointing it out will really be hard which it would turns out that support will never help you with this. Why would store up 500k usd on a exchange? A very risky thing to do.

That is a huge amount to lose.

Why did you keep so many coins in an exchange?

But I don't know how one can hack your 2fa enabled account?

You shouldn't store your coins in any exchange for long-term. Many times on this forum people are saying not to store coins in exchanges but some people still do it.

Is there any wallet for XRP?

Something weird is going on binance, a lot of people having issues. were you using API as well? i have small balance there and my account/balance is not affected in any way.

It indeed seems that people's API keys have been compromised due to them being stupid enough to make use of third party portfolio management tools or trading bots. If it really turns out that this is the actual reason people experience problems, then it's not Binance's fault at all, and the hack rumors should be trashed immediately. Good thing is that people won't lose anything because API keys can't be used to withdraw funds, only to potentially troll people where they use their balances to buy or sell. That's one of the reasons I don't and will never use a bot or any third party site/service requiring my API keys. It's just a matter of time before things go wrong....

I can confirm i was just hacked too.... for far less but still... no email confirming any withdrawal either. I bought all ltc and this morning its all gone but I have 4 of another cheaper coin. but 90% of portfolio is gone!

Something weird has definitely happened because somehow today they pumped VIA coin and rose to above 400% and after some time it started to fell badly and now it is around 70% up. Not sure was the motive to pump the VIA coin or so.

This morning I noticed 546,000 XRP coins missing from my account. I had 2FA security on the account but somehow my coins are missing. Never recieved an email for the transaction. I contacted Binance support but they are no help. I have filed with the FBI Cyber Crimes unit and local PD. Dont know what else to do. PLEASE BEWARE. DONT KEEP COINS ON BINANCE! I used to think it was safe but i literally just lost almost 500,000 dollars and nobody is doing anything about it.
