1. Never you store the seed phrase to your wallet carelessly because that's the key to your fund.
This is the most important thing every newbie should take note of. If a newbie likes, let him adopt all the necessary information for himself about bitcoin, failure to keep his seed phrase safe makes he has learned about crypto fall under the carpet.

2. Never you think ranking up on this forum is something impossible because if Mr. A, B, and C could do it, same way can you too, but only that you just have to press the right button (I.e do the right thing while posting quality contents), and you shall definitely find success.
Success is open for everyone to excel not only in this forum. The way you put your effort into things will determine your success.

Having said that, no rank is quite difficult to attain in this forum, is just a matter of being consistent in making good posts, and abiding by the forum rules. By so doing the newbie would be astounded due to the positive contribution he has offered to the forum. Merits will serve like a job well done for his contribution in the forum

All cases are very challenging at first for beginners. Because in the new situation, due to not having enough idea about something, various problems arise. But this problem does not last long. Because new members are regularly active in the forum, they have a rough idea about the various topics of the forum. And based on that idea they express interest in learning more and new things they are able to learn. But you have shared important information which every new member will be very helpful. If new members follow your post then they can get a rough idea about forum rules, basic idea about trading, investment information etc. You have presented here not only things you don't know. The prevalence of cryptocurrency is huge. No matter how much you know about it, you will never end up knowing.
You are direct and straight to the point in your comments about newbies  who haven't known anything that has to do with the forum, and how the forum operates.Everything has a step by step procedure in this Bitcointalk forum, and as a newbie,it is require that you dont breach any of the rules stated in the forum rules and guildlines. It is also important to have a role model in the forum, someone who you look out to becoming in the forum, and look at his method of posting, and how he organises himself in the forum. It is also adviceable as a newbie, not to rush into investing,or being too eager to enter into a signature campaign, making quality posts and  and making research about how to derive different strategies in trading are some of the most essential keys in Bitcoin and in the forum.

2:  Be ready to wait for God know how long, Bitcoin
shouldn't be taken as an ASAP investment allow time to
pass give your Bitcoin a long period of time

You don't need to make it sound as if it's a spiritual thing, anyone can invest in any cryptocurrency as he wishes as long as he understands the way to, if you have your money then invest, if you don't have the money then earn it, irrespective of how you get it just ensure you have it, some have made it through with other cryptocurrencies but we advise people to go for bitcoin first because it's more reliable and does not end into scam as few others did.

Bitcointalk allows users to interact with each other on a variety of topics, but of course not all users have the same goal of engaging. Many people expect money, it's not wrong if they are able to make a positive contribution to the forum and or other users. Ideally the desire to make money and contributions should be fairly balanced, it requires that they be knowledgeable users.
This forum has its own atmosphere and newbies will need some time before they understand how everything works here. I'm not sure that a newbie who falls here for the first time has any idea about signature campaigns, most likely they are driven by a desire to learn more about bitcoins, and in the process of learning they understand, that for their usefulness for this forum they can receive some kind of reward. This is an additional interest for many users, for some it may not be significant, but still it is a nice bonus that can motivate users to continue their communication here.

Newbies refer to those who just started a journey toward achieving a set goal, sometime the language word newbie can be used in various context but let me use this forum for an example, Newbie in this forum are those who just registered an account and haven't spent up to a certain period here in the forum.

But ultimately we are all a newbie any new field we fine ourselves and we need to come up with necessary tactic that will help build a good reputation and knowledge to survive in the industry.
I have been seeing many advise for newbies and I have to know who are the newbies we had been talking or writing about. Well I know that learning a particular thing that we don't have idea about makes us a newbie and with time we can grow from being a newbies to an intermediate in that particular thing. Bitcoin is not some we lead in a day or in a month. It is a continuous practice and learning adventure., Even the pro investors and traders are also learning about the market everyday so we don't have to bother yourselves too much of been bais about the time and stress it can take us to learn a particular thing.
A newbie is a newcomer, or newbie is a new participants in any activity, or a person who recently started a particular activity, or starter, fresheners, you can say this boy/girl is a beginner, if don't want to put the beginner, you put newbie or starter or newcomer let me make you understand that, these is  not only bitcoin, anything doable,it can be inside the forum or government workers or private works, like I'm a newbie in this forum,or how will I become a newbie in this forum.

100% right with your definition of a newbie, newbie is basically a starter this is the reason why there is a need for adequate guidance as a newbie to avoid or escape every possible danger along the way.

Will it interest you to understand that there are some bitcoin enthusiasts and developers who are not in this forum but they are seriously involved in Bitcoin activities.
You are right about this. There are a lot of developers out there but they don't interact on bitcoin forums, but it's possible they interact in other places or other chat rooms.

Being a member of this forum does not automatically make us de first class citizens of Bitcoin but that does not defile or deny the fact that this is very forum is full of information of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency and this information are almost second to none because it is an open forum. Even when an information is wrong somebody, someone will also debunk it publicly for the consumption of all.

Generally speaking new commerce of these days do not find interest in cryptocurrency and bitcoin. Most have interest in participating in signature campaign.

In other words, we are the first representation of bitcoin to others because they see us and through what they see makes them to believe that bitcoin is real at first, secondly we need to make efforts in helping them to understand the primary things about bitcoin and how an average person can take good advantage from investing it, bitcoin shouldn't be what people will be scared about who will teach them how to understand it.

Dont hold alternative cryptocurrencies for the long term
and if you must own them just know you are just
gambling with your money, because they can go
from100 to 0, so altcoin is worthless for the long term.
So many newbies are confused with Bitcoin and think that it is the same as other cryptocurrency because they don't have the knowledge. Bitcoin is king and every other crptocurrency is a duplicate of it. If you want to invest in altcoin as a newbie, you shouldn't do that because you will end up regretting if you don't trade it after a high pump because it will definitely go back to zero. Most altcoins are scam projects.

So haven said that I will like to add to your advice for Newbies.
1. Never you store the seed phrase to your wallet carelessly because that's the key to your fund.
Your seedphrase is as important as your bitcoin, and if you don't have proper back up,if you lose your phone or flash your PC ,you will end up not having access to your coin. Another risky aspect of not keeping your seedphrase safe is that someone can see it and take it as an advantage to steal your coins fr your wallet.

Hey there! Just read your post and I've gotta say, you shared some really great advice for newbies in the Bitcointalk community. I've been around the crypto scene for a while too, and I can definitely back up what you're saying.  Grin

1: You're so right! Bitcoin isn't some sort of instant wealth generator. It's important to be smart and learn all about it before diving in. It's more about gaining knowledge than just hoarding coins.

2: Absolutely! Being patient is super important. Those early adopters who held on tight are the big winners now. So, to all the newbies, be prepared to be in it for the long haul.

3: You nailed it. Altcoins can be a risky bet, so don't rely on them for long-term gains. It's better to stick with the big guns like Bitcoin.

4: Yeah, trading isn't a walk in the park. It's essential to learn the details and develop those skills to actually make a decent profit.

In summary, I couldn't agree more with your post. Newbies, pay attention to this advice and take the forum seriously. Learn the rules and be cautious about who you trust online. Bitcointalk is a treasure trove of knowledge, and all it takes is reading, researching, and learning from fellow members.

Let's keep making waves in the crypto world, everyone! 🌊

You have given very good advice. Thank you very much. Few steps given, and all good advice. This advice will be very helpful for newbies like us. Thank you again, for sharing such nice advice with us.

Thank you very min for the world of encouragement and well this piece of advice is just a little among several other tactical Bitcoin investment guides that could help beginners make the best choice and work through it, Bitcoin accumulation and its parent have become a tough choice for many newbies while some have made grave mistakes that cost them. Fortune by investing in altcoin thinking is the same as Bitcoin.

Others have out rightly neglected the tutorial for bitcoin accumulation and adoption, thereby following their olansplanspatterns which have always been faced with loads of difficulties instead of success in the long run.

Most ideal advice for newbies is to make a trading plan and learn how to do with basic charging or technical analysis this serves you as a guide when it comes to your investment journey.

Yes, we agree with you, because here everything needs targets to be achieved, the first thing is to make your initial plan for either investing or trading and this is really needed by beginners who want to get involved in the world of cryptocurrency, a little extra maybe here you also need to learn regarding the technical work strategy for achieving the initial target objectives that have been planned, and requires perfect analysis

And they can take all of this as a first step to get started, by having a guide I think your journey to achieving the target will be made easier, and maybe we say for beginners they would be better off trying to contribute and discuss with other seniors, maybe in the forum they will get all of these things, for a beginner to keep making the guide the main basic guide for their journey, both trading and investing.

Hey mate and instead of commenting just to get your signature pay, you should have at least overlooked the thread and move on even though you have a prejudiced mindset to this thread and the information it tries to pass.

Well you are entitled to your thought but sometimes our statements are a reflection of who we are, some can't undertake selfless tasks without aiming at achieving something which is why you are overly concerned about merit awards on the thread.

I will like you to note that not every post is merited that doesn't mean it is low quality or effortless.

First, I agree with you about alternative cryptocurrencies. I mean, it can be very volatile and generally not worth keeping for the long term.

So, my advice to beginners not to trade with what they don't understand is also very important. After all, trading requires knowledge and skills, and it is important to invest in your own knowledge and skills to be successful.

Also, the point about being patient with Bitcoin is a good one. It's not a short-term investment, and those who have success with it often hold onto their investment for years.

1: First newbies, please don't be deceived, bitcoin is not a
get rice scheme and at that the real riches of Bitcoin is
I'm your knowledge and not the amount you are aiming
to accumulate over time, so you may have the capital to
buy Bitcoin but if you don't have the right knowledge you
can still lose everything, you can see that from the
experience of those who stored their Bitcoin on
exchanges such as FTX and the rest of the other crashed
    exchanges.
Beginning nowadays have wrong mentality about bitcoin, the have very poor orientation, they believe if the invest in bitcoin they are already rich which is not like that, if you are not ready to take risk by holding, then you are not ready to make money from bitcoin, nobody that’s into cryptocurrency will ask you to deposit bitcoin and he will be giving your some percentage on a daily basis or weekly basis. Have seen people investing in  Ponzi scheme but they still claim they invested in bitcoin.

2:  Be ready to wait for God know how long, Bitcoin
shouldn't be taken as an ASAP investment allow time to
pass give your Bitcoin a long period of time, take your
lesson from those who bought Bitcoin in the early days
when Bitcoin price was in the range of cent and $1 and
locked the Bitcoin away for long and now they call
whales so they patience paid off give your Bitcoin a long
   time-spacee to mature.
Anyone investing in bitcoin should be ready to hold, if you are looking for fast money, then bitcoin is not for you, we are expecting bull run to start very soon but nobody knows when it will start so we just make up our mind and hold, the current market conditions we are is for buying, and not selling, make sure you use the medium to bag more bitcoin and you will smile in the future whenever you look at your wallet.

3:  Dont hold alternative cryptocurrencies for the long term
and if you must own them just know you are just
gambling with your money, because they can go
from100 to 0, so altcoin is worthless for the long term.
If you are investing in Altcoins, you are taking big risk, we all saw the way lots of people that invested in altcoin lose money in 2022, when you invest in altcoin, the chances of you winning and losing is 50/50, you can easily make good profit and the same way you can easily lose money, so I don’t really encourage people to invest in altcoins, Bitcoin is the safest investment which I believe everyone can make, if you invest in bitcoin, your mind should just be at rest because your investments is save.

Bitcoin is the most reliable but altcoin is the most life-changing investment for small time investors, I know altcoins are too risky and your money can go to zero but that's why diversity is a must as an altcoin investors, if all you have to spare for long term is 1000$ your best bet is to diversify the money onto altcoins, you will make more money than investing all that into Bitcoin.

If you are preparing to invest in crypto then this is the right time to invest in Bitcoin. Invest for the long term instead of waiting for the dip. There is no alternative to investing in Bitcoin if you are an investor can afford to invest enough in buying Bitcoin. Another important thing is to be patient. Only those who can persevere will succeed in the crypto world.

I particularly liked your first point about bitcoin not being a get rich quick scheme as there is a staggering number of people that do believe bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme and then when their expectations aren’t met, they would then tag bitcoin as a “scam” and go on to ignorantly tell anyone who cares to listen on how they lost money through bitcoin. It’s crazy on how many people continue to think like this.

I would partially disagree over your 3rd point. Personally, I try to stay away from alt coins and I don’t bother myself with them. But I know people that, having profited from alt coins would disagree with you. I do think they have their uses as well.

In my opinion, a newbie or anyone else wouldn’t be easily deceived or manipulated if only they take out some time to do some research for themselves. And that’s the first advice I would give anyone; Do your own research and not having to rely on some vague information that you heard someplace. People can be misleading and mischievous. Doing one’s own research would help steer you away from most of these mischief makers.

1: First newbies, please don't be deceived, bitcoin is not a
    get rice scheme

No matter how long this advice is sounded in the ears of the new commerce they will also have the mindset of getting rich quick through Bitcoin.
There are some mistakes that are inevitable for newcomers and they would not rest unless they make the mistakes themselves. Learning from other people's mistake is something that doesn't happen often with new commers.

Most of the people that leaves cryptocurrency space disappointed are people that were supposed to get rich quick within the few months of getting into Bitcoin.
I always tell the newcomers that those who became super rich through bitcoin are few of them that adopted bitcoin when it was worth nothing.
For now you cannot make big fortune through bitcoin unless you are ready to invest a huge amount of money and wait for the minimum of five years
It’s never undeniable that most of the newbies still invest for bitcoin in pursuit for quick and huge profits. We can’t blame them because almost all the ads about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in the internet deal with huge amount of money. So they always have the mindset that if they enter bitcoin investment most especially with huge amount of capital, they will make good returns that will pave way to achieve their wealth and become financially free in the future.

You are right because every form of learning makes one a newbie and since cryptocurrency is a relatively new industry we all consider anyone registering newly here as a newbie.

Even though we may have newbies to the forum but already a good cryptocurrency knowledge outside, but then we try as much as possible to make such statements relatively close to the nearest minimum.

3:  Dont hold alternative cryptocurrencies for the long term
and if you must own them just know you are just
gambling with your money, because they can go
from100 to 0, so altcoin is worthless for the long term.

All you have point was right but you can change the point 3. you can hold an alternative coin after doing own research and proper risk management unless you are bitcoin maximalist.

Simple advice when buy altcoin : DYOR first don't FOMO or don't buy no utility coin like shitcoin (you can buy it, but it is only for fun)

Most folks perceive me as a Bitcoin maximalist, but the fact is that I don't consider any other coin aside from Bitcoin and because of the high risk with altcoins I am always against them.

But that is not outstanding we also have other good altcoins that support and enhance cryptocurrency scalability.

All the tips are good, but I don't understand the meaning of the expression that altcoins are worth nothing in the long run. Of course, they are more volatile than bitcoin, and you can both lose everything and get a good profit on them, but they are not useless. Even if some are devalued. But when the price of bitcoin rises, the price of altcoins also rises. And ether, litecoin, etc. are also altcoins, but they have taken their good position in the world of cryptocurrencies.
The list of altcoins is not an exception in investing although we have to be careful choosing altcoins because of the risk of loss, I only believe 2 altcoins ETH and BNB for long term investment, maybe the Op did not add a definition why altcoins are called exceptions because many assume big losses from altcoins, impact FTX and Luna have worsened investor confidence in altcoins.

4: In your quest to make a few bulls from bitcoin trading
don't trade a bit of what you have not built knowledge and
trading skills because that is what will facilitate your
   profits in trading.

In conclusion, Newbies take this forum seriously and after you have read the rules of the forum, also take time to read about wallets and wallet securities don't trust anyone on the Internet.
How to know a good trader and investor ,you will observe that from their start up point they would be more interested to know, keen to imbibe the knowledge about what they're about to go into. For them the knowledge in the beginning is the first and most important factor before anything else like wanting to trade because they feel by trading profit will yield immediately. It's only those newbies that put their minds on the bull run profit from their start up stage that end up vomiting the little they have to scammers cause they have no idea of what the industry is all about , who is who, like they wanna earn before they learn, what a wrong way to go.

OP, very good advice, but I'm afraid that many new members will not listen to you because they think they know better  Grin
When I was still young and inexperienced, I made a mistake like many others and decided to sell some of my btc and invest in altcoin but it was a very expensive mistake.
All the altcoins I invested in failed and only btc is still there.
This is definitely not a project where someone will get rich overnight, but a long-term investment, and everyone should learn to be patient and wait for the right moment to exit.
It is important that everyone is well informed about what crypto is, analyze the market in detail and make an investment decision based on their personal situation.

Congratulations on your success in the forum thus far. You've learned a lot since your days as a newbie and are now on your way to becoming a senior member of the forum. You have some fantastic tips for newbies to learn from, and it's great that you're giving back to the forum where you learned.

Most of the tips for becoming a better trader in the cryptocurrency space have been seen and understood by those who have been here for a while. The market's ups and downs, as well as the crisis, have opened many people's eyes. Those who have learned and continue to be victims of such should be termed due to negligence and should be allowed to live by their own fate.

Newbies should understand and have a proper knowledge of the bitcoin market when they get here. It is one of the benefits of them joining here in the first place. The forum is similar to a school, and those who are ready to learn should look to the older members for guidance.

I'm your knowledge and not the amount you are aiming
to accumulate over time, so you may have the capital to
buy Bitcoin but if you don't have the right knowledge you
can still lose everything, you can see that from the
experience of those who stored their Bitcoin on
exchanges such as FTX and the rest of the other crashed
    exchanges.
The ultimate goal is not only to learn about bitcoin or cryptocurrency but also to learn how to keep them safe. In this time we have many cases where people lose their coins, the people who is losing their bitcoins are mostly aware of crypto but don't know how to deal with the security.

Exchanges are not the safest place to store your assets, keep them in a private wallet to keep them safe.

locked the Bitcoin away for long and now they call

Most of the newbies in crypto things bitcoin is just a get rich quick scheme, but it is the opposite of this. Here, you need a lot of patient and holding power if want any kind of return. Although patient needs in any kind of investment to see the results you expected.

You did actually made some good points, because as the day goes by so are more people getting to know about Bitcoin, and it is our sole responsibility to guide them the same way we were guided as a newbie. So haven said that I will like to add to your advice for Newbies.
1. Never you store the seed phrase to your wallet carelessly because that's the key to your fund.

2. Never you think ranking up on this forum is something impossible because if Mr. A, B, and C could do it, same way can you too, but only that you just have to press the right button (I.e do the right thing while posting quality contents), and you shall definitely find success.
You are very right mate, ranking up seemed like a problem to me before when I was still a newbie,I looked out for merit for some periods of time, and I wasn't seeing it,untill I discovered that the best way to get merited in the forum is through constantly and consistently making quality posts  without expecting merit from anyone. When you expect much, you get less, but when you expect less, you always get much more than you ever expected.
Always concentrate on making quality posts and  reading people's posts.

Altcoin is not an option for a newbie, it is less risky to start holding Bitcoin before gaining knowledge but one can not take such risk on altcoins, and in the best interest of your investment bitcoin should be taken as a long-term investment.

Don't hold Bitcoin for the short term unless your are using Bitcoin to carry out daily transactions, such as paying bills, but if you are looking to make your savings in bitcoin, you must be determined to hold for at least 5-6 months and one year respectively.
Bitcoin is a top project in the market and it have high volatility which results to the massive dump and pump if the market. I'm holding bitcoin with my ultimate goal to allow it to make a bull run up to $100k. Patience is highly practiced when dealing with bitcoin, it's either you make profits or loss, each action will be triggered. Bitcoin can take up to a year before it pumps, there's more chances to pump when the bull season comes, but presently the bear market is everywhere.

Reading more beginners will get better answers of course from us giving advice and also learning to them as beginners only guidance is given how to introduce bitcoin and others about trading as well as investing on the other hand there are additional ways to protect assets in this forum already available just go to search they will find it.

1. Never you store the seed phrase to your wallet carelessly because that's the key to your fund.
This is important especially when it comes to assets, so they should be able to keep the seed phrase as a private key securely in place and only the only one who knows the safe friend is one more never save on an exchange because it is high risk it is better to store in a non-custodial wallet.

2. Never you think ranking up on this forum is something impossible because if Mr. A, B, and C could do it, same way can you too, but only that you just have to press the right button (I.e do the right thing while posting quality contents), and you shall definitely find success.
If other people can rank up why can't we? Of course, beginners have to learn a lot, of course, about how to improve in forums, especially in posting contributions. I'm sure they can do that as long as they really want to pursue it and implement it.
There are many threads about how to rank up, of course accompanied by quality posts.

On the contrary I would say if you are newbie then investing in shitcoins is the biggest mistake you will make in hope of diversifying your portfolio because bitcoin is the only best option for you while those altcoins are pump dump scheme to make profits for the whales only. You can check on CMC how top-10 have changed instead of bitcoin which remains always at the top.The main reason behind it there's no utility for these altcoins so no long-term price surge but if you can trade it short term you can give it a shot but as a newbie stay away from it.

1: You can see that from the

The first rule of investment also says invest in those assets of which you have knowledge about or if not gain knowledge for them and then invest your money into it.Those people who ignore it invest in hope to earn some quick profits but when it's not happening they start panicking calling it scam or ponzi selling their coins which is a mistake.

Secondly the biggest issue is keeping your funds on these CEX who are in actual possession of your keys through which they can easily spend your funds so you are not owning any bitcoins if they are on CEX so take it out and store them on hardware wallets or non custodial wallets like Electrum with safety of your seed phrases.Learn more about wallets here

3:  Dont hold alternative cryptocurrencies for the long term
and if you must own them just know you are just
gambling with your money, because they can go
from100 to 0, so altcoin is worthless for the long term.
