Awesome, what kw price do you get over there, and how did you got the money for it investors ?

What about the mining ? Do you use antminers ?  How many ?

The price I got from the power grid is about 0.3 CNY/kWh. The other two shareholder are my old friends. We started buying Bitcoin from 2013/2014. So we earned enough money to build this farm.

In next month we can host about 6000 miners. Only hundreds are owned by myself. My main purpose is to provide hosting service and cloud mining.

Now I have 600 L3+ and 200 S9 running. It's located in a discarded factory at the same town, which is temporary.

WOW that's huge! I'm wondering if is it still profitable in 2018?

BTW It would be great if you can update the images in your first post.

Hey there, nice work.

Is it really true that the locals and gov are tryna limit the power usage for mining farms there?
It's local governments, and yeah, it's true. I'm not affiliated with Richestlizza, but my mine is pretty close to his and they've been flipping our power off for the past 48 hours or so.
This should create some good opportunities. This squeezing will cause some miners to relocate, but it will probably make some others downsize or quit altogether.  I'm thinking there will be more machines on the market really soon.

Is your power still off? Are you planning to relocate? PM me if you are planning to sell your miners.

How are things in China now? There has been a lot of buzz about the crackdown in China in the last week or so? Is that still really happening? Thanks.

Kudos to you sir. I can't see the images but you are living the crypto dream life.
I wonder why the links you are providing tho are being blocked? It says "bitcointalk image proxy: invalid image"

If anyone can see and quote or re-link the images, it would be much appreciated.

This mining farm is located in Inner Mongolia, China.  The first two 2-floor building will be ready in next month and the power supply will be 10000 kW. In the beginning of next year we will build 7 builds and total power consumption will be 50000 kWh.

Good, I have a few questions.
How are you going to sustain such power and what will be your power source?
What is your ventalation because 2 storey buildings usually have lower floor to ceiling height.
Please update us with your improvements, this would be a great reference for the community.

The returns on a mining farm will be very high.  I hope you make the profit quickly to make up for the big investment you made.

Are you thinking of getting any of it solar powered or at least the warehouse lights etc...?
Correct much better if they will build alternative supply of electricity like solar, waste or wind energy to maximized the profit of their mining site. They can get the capital of their alternative energy power in the income of their current mining site.
Hoping that mining of my friends would be like this our income would be like rain (non-stop) and we are planning to build cloud mining if our mining site would be successful we want to share our blessing to other who want to earn in bitcoin but we are firstly focus in our countrymen.

wow you must spend high cost money to build your mining farm and i can not imagine how much the money it is. but i think its worth to build mining farm if you have cheap electricity fee so you can reduce the biggest cost in mining farm. with that farm and with 600 L3+ and 200 S9, i think you can make huge profit for a long term. i wonder what is the sites you used for cloud mining or hosting.

How are you paying for this whole project?  Did you already have the money, or did you convince an investor to finance the job?

What is their deal?  How much do they get out of the total bitcoins mined, and after their 1.5 million is paid back, how much money do they get after that?

We use our own money to construct this mining farm. Then we offer hosting service to other people.

While you are building the farm, why don't you send me several Antminer S9's to mine with?  I'll split the net profits 50-50 with you.  I will pay for my own electricity.  That way you can get some income going while the place is being built.

this is very surprising if indeed there are investors who go to finance this, because everything has not been clearly reflected, ina will actually make the investors lose their money and without getting any results. maybe this is just a joke. because I am sure they will think constantly when going to finance this. because real this is something that might be in vain.

That's really a great news. Nice place to put up a mining farm. Also the electricity cost in China is very cheap. I think it will be successful. I hope you will also consider  cloud mining. Just curious, do you need approval or permit from the government? Anyway, keep us posted and congrats in advance!.

Is your power hydro electricity or coal based?

It's using power from the power grid, not particularly hydro or coal.  So it's more stable than hydro, no need to migrate at dry seasons.

Inner Mongolia province has lots of installed capacity, including coal, wind and solar.

We construct a 10kV transmission line from the 4km far substation.

Will you be renting out space to other miners?

Congratulations on your farm it seems like an amazing adventure!

Yes. We provide miner hosting  service.

It's not easy. You need to get many approvals, reports.  Everything costs.

The most tough thing is drinking. People from Inner Mongolia like drink just as Russians.

Awesome farm! Congratulations! Hope this project runs well for you. For you what posted, all seemed to be so smooth, was it a hard task dealing with China government to obtain the land and permissions to build over there ?

Thanks for the frequent updates. Exciting stuff! I noticed you'd been having trouble getting miners earlier. If you have any trouble in the future, you can pm me. I have hundreds of new machines in stock here in China. I'll deliver them myself!

Thanks for you offer. We need thousands...

We already ordered more than 2,000 miners. and more in the future.
I hear you. I do international retail for a big wholesaler, nut they also mine. 2 of their own farms, plus hosting. It's crazy.

Anyway, if you ever need units asap, let me know. We always order way more than we can use. Still have some October S9's as well as L3+, D3, 741. 761 are on the way, too.

I'm new, amd need to build up trust in the community, so I'll hand-deliver in mainland China to get positive feedback!

Keep up the good work, and keep the pictures coming!

Yes, took power factor as 1. You should be good with these. What is the weather like in your area? In summer, the amps might go up a little bit so don't overload for continuous operation. Thanks.

Summer is hot and dry where I live; hence, I am planning to use evaporated cooling. It is a lot cheaper than A/C. I am thinking about ultrasonic evaporation but the water is too hard here.
Use a filtration station for water purification to minimize the loss of hard water cooling quality.

Cloud mining and pool business is also on the way.
Stay tuned, my friends!

Wow that sounds massive, looking forward to seeing some more images of the expansion as it happens. I'm not to keen on cloud mining but some people are drawn to it. Did you decide to drop hosting, that's a business model I can get behind. Definitely more customer friendly, and helps bring more people the opportunity to mine.

You mention a pool, so you're going to launch your own?

Man that looks amazing. Awesome to see someone who was able to put together some large scale expansion plans in place during the rough patch. How big are you now? The last update said you were going to be 500 PH by the end of 2018, I could understand if that got delayed.

First time I noticed the thread so I'm a bit behind but that's an awesome accomplishment. Are you still doing the hosting? Did you ever manage to get a cloud mining operation running? I have to ask you previously were at 100 machines yourself, what's that grown to? Didn't see it anywhere but have you gone the solo mining route or do you have a pool you like?

Is it really true that the locals and gov are tryna limit the power usage for mining farms there?

It's local governments, and yeah, it's true. I'm not affiliated with Richestlizza, but my mine is pretty close to his and they've been flipping our power off for the past 48 hours or so. This should create some good opportunities. This squeezing will cause some miners to relocate, but it will probably make some others downsize or quit altogether. I'm thinking there will be more machines on the market really soon.

I can't see the pics. BTW, for 500kVA transformer, how many S9 antminers can you run? Are you using 220 or 240V?

It's not easy. You need to get many approvals, reports. Everything costs.

The most tough thing is drinking. People from Inner Mongolia like drink just as Russians.

How did you manage to agree with the authorities?
It was hard to get permission?

Yes. We registered a project company at the county. We signed investment agreement with the local government, finished  Feasibility Study Report, Environmental Assessment Report, Safety Production Assessment Report, etc. Many documents, many approvals, and costs.

We also purchased the land from the government, 50 years right of use. Totally about 13000 square meters.

Uff. This is serious even if you gave the money back. The opportunity cost can be skyhigh for the clients that signed the first contract which was one-sidedly revoked.

Yes. We wanted to order S9 shipping from Nov. 1st to Nov. 10th. From Shenzhen to Inner Mongolia needs about one week. And In the contract we promised to start mining in two weeks after we receive the miners. So it's now start paying from Nov. 1st.

Moreover, that contract was canceled and I returned the money back to clients.

Thank you for admitting that you have defaulted on the contract. Cancelling the contract is not acceptable as there were no terms in there that allows you to do one way cancellation. When you sign a cloud mining agreement with your client, you must carry out the terms no matter what!

Your clients and I (indirectly) have lost a lot of profit that we could have made if you actually honored the contract.

OP, is it legal to build Bitcoin mining farm, especially inside China? I heard that China government just tracked and shut down several Bitcoin mining farms recently.

Anyway, I wish you all the best with this project.

PS: Love your long term vision and hope everything turns out well  Wink

The Chinese government defines Bitcoin as "digital commodity". It's legal to hold, buy, sell or produce such "digital commodity".

The reason that the government call stop ICOs and shutdown the exchanges is there are two many cheating, manipulating the market, etc.

So it's total legal to build and operating mining farms in China.

This mining farm is located in Inner Mongolia, China.  The first two 2-floor building will be ready in next month and the power supply will be 10000 kW. In the beginning of next year we will build 7 builds and total power consumption will be 50000 kWh.

A well planned investment. All the best.  Hope you build buildings as you planned. Mining is a good platform to invest now. I am sure you have chosen mining tools with best specifications required.

It's definitely an ambitious project. You guys will need a lot of intelligent management in order to succeed, specially with so many could mining projects going to waste or being outright scams.

Congratulations to both you and your friends for having the foresight and drive to build this, and I do hope it works out well for all of you!

I'll check out your Steemit post and with power that inexpensive you'll be competitive because a lot of cloud mining services have lost the faith of the community.  That is probably already in the front of your mind and taken into account, as I will be watching with real interest. Smiley

Why don't you post your cloud mining contract here? Oh wait, you took the money, asked your clients to sign the contract digitally and have not sent the contract back to them because you can't honor the contract?

Why don't you actually honor the contract and start paying people as advertised on November 1st 2017!

Show you evidence? Which statement I am making is false? You have not sold a contract? Your contact does not start in November 1st? You are going to pay on November 1st? Please prove I am BULLSHITTING.

I sold first batch of cloud mining contract on August 30. For some reasons I couldn't order miners from Bitmain and after about ten days I stop trying negotiate with Bitmain and returned the money back to clients ( Some clients choose to wait for next batch miners).

Then on Sep 19 I sold the 2nd batch contracts after I confirmed order with Bitmain. These miners will be shipped between Nov 10 to Nov 20 from Bitmain. It takes about one week to ship from Shenzheng factory to our farm. In the contract we promised to start mining in two weeks after we receive the miners. I never sold contracts that start paying from Nov 1st.

Yes it's true that I didn't send the contracts to the clients yet. It will be done in next week. I explained that in the wechat group.

I don't know if you purchased my cloud mining contracts or not. If you feel worried I can purchase back you hashrate according to the market price now. I think you know how to contact me.

Now we are working day and night to accelerate the construction. It's never not easy to run a business like this.

Hosting service and cloud mining together offered by one service? Not a bad deal, but since you are going to offer cloud, what will be benefit for us? Will it be better than hashnest, hashing24 or etc? (all of them are bad to my mind). What will be different? Less fees? I think it will be better for you to offer something like contracts, for example similar of pacmic on hashnest.
It will be hard to gain trust on cloud mining + people don't look this seriously because I believe it will be bettee to buy miner and host somewhere, for example in your mining farm.

The operator of this farm is experiencing bad construction delays and is defaulting on the cloud mining contract that is suppose to start paying on Nov 1st!

He sold 2 million dollars worth of cloud contracts in September, now it is end of Oct and he is not paying the mining contracts because of construction delays. The contract actually says the investors will receive bitcoin regardless of lose of power, construction delays, break down of equipments etc...

Stay away from him. You will lose money.
