To be honest when I read Ice cream sandwhich
I was thinking ha-ha this is going to be an Android Phone ain't it
But I was pleasantly surprised I hope he enjoyed it

LOL! We are huge Apple fanatics, so you would never see an Android ANYTHING in our household!
So relieved that Apple has lifted the ban on Bitcoin apps, because we were really dreading the possibility of having to switch to Android just to get a native Bitcoin wallet app.

I feel for you on that one unless you had a working app you couldn't get a new bitcoin app
There was a bit of a bypass though in that you could get it in the unofficial app store but its much nicer to get it on the main ecosystem as well
No need to shoot those poor phones with snipers for a Nexus 5 ^_^

Yes, it did!
The only part that was SLIGHTLY bumpy (for about 4 seconds) was that he didn't realize that he had to hold his iPhone CLOSER to the QR Code in order to get it to properly scan. If he knew that, it would have been a 100% flawless experience!
