I would not suggest you to put personal info any such things to post in this forum that could lead you to expose your true identity. There are users who will try to take advantage from it. No way in meta because meta is for anything that is forum related. Off - topic will not give you any good exposure, it's just waste of time. I was thinking about Reputation board but again not a place to ask money since that place is for forum users reputation discussion so lending seemed to me the closest board.

I wasn't sure on lending. I get non collateral loans all of the time! I am no longer anonymous that is my personal information! I am sharing it everywhere! I just figure since I have been building my reputation I may have a chance here! I can post pictures (With parts of my I.d. Blurred, Mail with my address blurred or whatever. I have honestly never a done a go fund me but I have seen it work so thought I would try! I posted it to Facebook as well I am sure I will hear all about it in the morning when I take him to work. lol I can sign a message or whatever! I am not asking anyone to throw the title to their house out here just some spare change if you got it! I am not out to rip anyone off 50 cents is fine by me! Just thought I would try! Oh and the officer said they average 2 cars getting stolen a night here! I live in a town of 30 thousand people I thought chop shops were just big city  things. He used his stimulus check to buy 4 Brand New tires. I figured they stole it for the tires!

The topic surely is not suitable for Service section. I think the best place for it will be Lending although it seems you are asking for donation.

It's a sad story and the emotion make sense. I have not worn the shoe of your brother but I think it's not enough to ask help in an anonymous place for this. I do not know what requires to create a post in go fund but in this anonymous forum your chances are very slim I am afraid. If you really want to help your brother then talk to your relatives, close friends in real life. Someone who has personal and real life connection with you may understand your pain a lot better than us in the community. I am not judging you but people misused this place even for few dollars.


I have no idea if this could be the reality. File a case and give them time to find the gang or guy who stole the car. Maybe it will take longer than you expect but the police will find a way.

My younger brothers truck was stolen from the parking lot of his apartments lastnight. Cops are doing nothing and said the last truck that got stolen was 2,000 miles away....

He just moved to these apartments on the 1st of October 2020. Him and his girlfriend wanted there OWN place and got an apartment. Well in the 2 weeks he has been there he paid a deposit, rent for first month, ALL THE BILLS  and a moving truck. (He has good credit so he borrowed some from bank) He currently is paying everything on his own while his girlfriend finishes her trade school. He wanted to have his own everything now that he can afford it. (Just finished paying off the truck). He has been there 2 WEEKS... 2!!!! His truck is gone and now has no way back and forth to work... He doesnt ask for handouts, does not want them and will kill me when he finds out I did this but I want to help... It doesnt matter if I get him an 87 Honda with all the windows busted out and dented to Hell.. I just want to get him transportation to and from work...

I had $100 to my name and gave it to him.  He is a good kid and I hate this would happen to him... I wish I could give more but I take care of my mom on Hospice currently and hardly get to work as is...

If anyone wants to help. Even if only $1 it would be GREATLY appreciated... I just want to help him. I know he would do the same.. He once drove across the country... Called off 2 days just to pick me up from my ex's house that dumped me and threw me out in the middle of a City and State I did not know. He would do this for me or any of you. So if you got any change laying around please help... Sign a message on amount and in the future we will work on paying you off. I put my reputation out there. I will even give my private info.. Whatever you need.. please just help...

Locking thread please delete as I cannot do so. Not trying to break rules and could not find a correct thread for it. I have seen donations for fighting hunger and that and thought this might be a good idea! Thank you and I am sorry if I broke any rules. Just stressing trying to figure something out! Not thinking and just doing every idea I have!
