Well 2 of my cars were stolen and i lost around 30k, shit happens, nothing you can do really, insurance pays you a little tho so not everything is lost and there is a chance for the car to be found
There are 10% that they will offer to buy it out in 72 hours after they stole it and approx. 2-5% that police will find it. So there is a chance of 12-15% to get it back.

And in the nearest future this car will be registered somewhere in Russia, Kazakhstan or somewhere from that side(they probably even won't change the VIN code) and sold to somebody.
Thats why we created our project, but it seems that all of You prefer to suffer from such kind of jerks instead of helping to make something that can atleast warn you from buying such car or possibility to find yours if stolen.

Police can find it if they don't break the car. 18k is very cheap BTW. Same car is 50k here.
He bought a used one for sure, their price is around 18000 euros maybe less in Germany, that is not a very expensive car but for sure you will be very disappointed if you worked very hard for it and than you don't have it anymore.

That is the problem with the electronic keys and everything that uses electricity. It can be hacked or manipulated in some way. Someone worked very hard for a car like that and some kid unlocks his car with a laptop. Someone will shoot him in the face someday, especially in Russia.
So you spend $18k on a nice car go to the trouble of insuring it for an accident but do not insure against theft!?

What about car insurance, dont you have it? For a car like that, i would definitely insured it against theft. If you live in Germany, your car has already probably left the country and moved to eastern Europe or even to Balkan countries.
