Oh god, I didn't know it has got so many problems in importing this machine. I also have a plan to get one asic miner. Actually its not my idea, its my spouse's idea. After seeing op's post, I also should check the legal proceedings to import this machine to my country. Otherwise I will get some GPU cards and mine  altcoins.

I'm not from Vietnam so can't help.

One EU country has held my S1's for 2 weeks - I had to translate for them what sort of machine that is. What it is used for. What is Bitcoin and then it was released  Cry

Well, because Bitcoin is too mainstream and they want to ban everything related to bitcoin.

First, they have no idea about what is an ASIC miner. Just a weird computer machine. Easy go through the security gate.
Second, bitcoin the celebrity coming to town.
Third, they realized that weird computer machine is a bitcoin miner. Andddd, they HODL it at the port just like us hodling bitcoin right now. I really have no idea when will they return it. But I bet they are mining using my ASIC right now!

The reason is: waiting for a direction from the government.
