I propose a data center where we collect all the data in an organized way ,where people can learn from zero about some subject ,like in a book that shows content.

Am i crazy ? Smiley

Yes. Turns out, someone else had the same idea:

Project Gutenberg (PG) is a volunteer effort to digitize and archive cultural works, to "encourage the creation and distribution of eBooks". It was founded in 1971 by American writer Michael S. Hart and is the oldest digital library. Most of the items in its collection are the full texts of public domain books. The Project tries to make these as free as possible, in long-lasting, open formats that can be used on almost any computer. As of 23 June 2018, Project Gutenberg reached 57,000 items in its collection of free eBooks.

And yes, there is always the problem of copyright. This forces the information to be split, some under paywall some in different organizations, and sometimes lost. In the end you are forced to search for the subject. Thankfully you CAN use Wikipedia as starting point, always paying attention to the references below and continue your search.

Before the internet, this was a subject of dreams. Its a recurring theme in sci-fi, "large" computers with "all" the knowledge you could ever want and more.

We are in the information age, it is now a reality. You complain its disorganized, but it actually is quite well organized, in Wikipedia, you get a quick glimpse and continue from there. There also happens to be a ton of info in "multimedia", Youtube and the like. For example the Khan Academy. Self learning is easier than ever with the internet, but it also gives you access to unlimited entertainment, so it rests on you. There is also unlimited social interaction, both to waste time or to learn. You can get in contact with groups dedicated to certain specific subject, like this forum is for Bitcoin and you come here to learn about it.

Compare rates on different exchanges & swap.
I had similar challenges while in school. I never really liked the materials we had in schools back then. Seems the lecturers were more interested in getting students pass their exams than showing proofs of what they teach... I was obsessed with proofs and hated boring theories.

Well, I guess decentralized data storages would be best suited for this sort of thing. And I would prefer to obtain such information from people who have read/tried them... maybe suggested via rating by people who have actually read/tried and enjoyed them thoroughly. In this case, it will be important to get people give very honest reviews/ratings. Dishonest reviews have to be minimized as much as possible. .

So, people on a decentralized network could gather the best materials (books, audio, video, as you suggested) they can find on the internet, with credits to the owners of the materials. The owners of the best rated materials could earn coins while the materials are stored in their storage devices.

Schools are ok ,but for most teachers, teaching is just a job ,internet is also a good tool to help you learn , but problem with the data is that it is not organized correct ,you have to search and search to find what you want ,sometimes you find the info sometimes you don't . You waste time maybe searching for info that doesn't even exist  ,or your looking in the wrong place.

I propose a data center where we collect all the data in an organized way ,where people can learn from zero about some subject ,like in a book that shows content.

Let's say if you want to learn Math ,you get content of all math and you click on a link to download that part of Math you are interested in ...

Archive.org is similar to my idea but it's not organized ,and it does not have to much info ... i think of a cloud "Library of Alexandria" ... hard for me to explain ,like a place if i want to learn biology or chemistry  i find all info that exists (books, videos, podcasts, papers, video experiments ,sound etc ) about the subject ,like a history timeline of the subject .

1.We need to find a place to put the data center . Maybe Switzerland ( they are neutral )
2.We need to figure out how to give free access to all the people in the world like wikipedia does...
3.We need to figure out how we going to get the donations for the project, how can hold the funds, who will want to manage the project ,how we can create a platform for volunteers to work on the project ...
4.And many more problems to solve ...

Also imagine the place like this also :  i can pay 1 usd ,0.01 btc/eth etc to ask a question and the greatest minds in the world or tutors/teachers respond to my question or help me figure out what i don't understand ...

This is not a project for one man can do ...how many of you think it's a waste of time or if it is worth a 1 USD donation to this project ? Am i crazy ? Smiley
