I have so many questions in mind concerning crypto and I want to ask if this forum search engine can lead me to some of the questions, is the search engine on the right side of the screen that capable? I am new on here and I need some guidance, hope I am welcomed 🙇 thank you.
The search button is always helpful for creating topics that has been discussed in the forum several times. It is also help to get vital information from old topics. The search button can give you what you want and make things to be easy.  But if the search button can't give you the information you are want you ask the forum and get your answers.

Congratulations on joining the forum, and welcome. This is a major step forward in your quest for more in-depth knowledge of cryptocurrencies. By pointing out that this is your starting point, you've already done well thus far. Dispel any humorous information you may have already heard about cryptocurrency providing access to hidden wealth; it is complete nonsense.
And this first step will really give influence the newbies and will lead them on how they will be likely. We have seen so many newbies coming here and saying about their spirit to be in this forum, but in fact, lately, they aren't. They feel so eager for a beginning but when they face any difficulties or some criticism, they will be down and pull back. This is not really good but this is important to understand.
The starting point on this forum will also determine how you will be in this forum, will be only a silent reader, follower, shit poster, hunter, or other type sof person here. It needs certain consistency to be good tot his forum and contribution very well to this forum

Same as me and one major thing we beginners have to do is first go through all the rules and regulations but most times it seems difficult as it involves lots of reading but you should know that nothing good comes easy as quality time and effort MUST be put into action over a set of time.

And yes the search box over here can help you great but google as we know has been our greatest help in ages past and nothing is new over there as all you require as already been discussed in previous time, so all you have to do is make research and in cases of difficult in assimilation don't fail to create a thread. don't be scared to do so as we are all here to learn and share a little of our knowledge with the community here.

I think someone posted already a detailed guide on how to use the search engine on this forum effectively. However, should you find difficulty, then the internet is your best friend. At least almost every thing and information can be searched through various search engines available (e.g. Google, etc.). You can also watch detailed videos on YouTube and/or read books about cryptocurrencies.

There are tons of posts about cryptocurrencies in this forum (hence on why it was created in the first place). If you spend your time browsing through the archives or on the pages, you would find most discussions that have already answered your impending question. Good luck on your journey and may this be the start of your opportunity today, OP.

Yes and definitely majority of your question in your head are probably on the search engine. Just keep using it until you didnt find any questions and post it in here. Thats one way to limit and avoid scams from reptitive questions. Thats the problem on some nebwies, keep throwing same questions without using a search engine first.

Here is an example that you can try:

Code:
site:bitcointalk.org what is "crypto" -doge

https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/2466433?hl=en
Thanks buddy, I always use the above search code to find something important in forums on google search engine, but if you want to find a specific keyword then it's more effective to use ninjastic for precise and fast search will be found from every thread of the board.

Yes. I was wondering when someone would mention ninjastic.spaceSmiley
Despite the fact that the ninjastic.space is not officially part of bitcointalk, I have always been impressed with how well the ninjastic search engine works. I just wish that our forum search engine worked a little bit like that.

All the basics you are looking for you will find here ----> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/guide-searching-effectively-5276341, then you can create a topic with all the questions that you do not have the answer to and then ask people here for an answer or help you search.

Your research skills will develop over time, and repeating the question is not annoying if you search well and do not find an answer.

I put it to you that as you are willing to use the search option both here in the forum and on Google to search for materials regarding cryptocurrency you should also be willing and prepared to actually read through those materials and not merely skim through them. There are a lot of materials on cryptocurrency currently and the ones you may end up going through maybe may be very huge and extensive even more than what you have bargained to read so you must prepare your mind from the start.

This new path that you have chosen to thread requires a lot of commitments hard work, you should be ready.

If you have some questions, then don’t hesitate to raise it to the forum by making a thread, and expect good answers from the other members. That way, you will receive clear answers to your questions. Or you can just simply use the search engine and find some direct answers. Also, take time to read the forum especially in its beginner’s section, it will help you a lot. And when you have doubts in your mind, always DYOR so you can gain knowledge and develop your own skills in the forum.

As a beginner, I can advise you to pay attention to the EyesFi project. What is the project? EyesFi launches the “Like2Earn” model. It has a curation-based reward mechanism and decided to integrate a GameFi dimension into its ecosystem. Users who want to participate must have NFT glasses in order to curate or like the NFTs they believe are valuable. The greater the future value of the curated NFT, the more token rewards users will receive. Under the influence of incentives, users are more inclined to make wise choices. As a result, EyesFi intends to create a more efficient value discovery platform with the assistance of all participants and contributors. For independent study, I leave links to the project:

You are welcomed and I have gone through comments in your posy, they have proffered answers to your questions ranging from how to effectively search in the forum to using Google search but prefixing bitcointalk to your search to give you a more filtered result.

Then I have to add, that before you start learning about crypto and get carried away, try to read the Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ. Get aware of the does and don'ts of the forum in order to have a smooth stay, else you could be banned for plagiarism and related offences.

I would say it's better for you to use google search instead of in forum search engine since it's suck lol. If you search a long sentence and use the search engine, you will many thread that doesn't related with the sentence. It's only good to search about particular word or phrase, not in sentence.

Since your crypto journey begins today, I advice to avoid the whole shitcoins aka crypto in general and only focus on Bitcoin. This because there's many scams on crypto that would make you get scammed.

Welcome!

I suggest you use this[1] advance search feature of the forum instead of using the search feature on the right side of this page. Well, the advance one also suggest to use google search for more accurate results, so uncle google is really your  helpful body even searching stuff about the forum.

It's works, just make sure you type "Bitcointalk" first before typing what you are searching for.
It still work regardless you put "bitcointalk" keyword in first or in the last, but not all results are from bitcointalk.

For advance searching[2] you can use "your keywords site:bitcointalk.org" as this will find the website's sitemap, in simple words every result came from the site you input.

First, I would like to say welcome to the forum, i hope you find what you are looking for, as well as have a wonderful stay here.

Concerning your query, based on my experience using the forum's search engine, I wouldn't guarantee it's effectiveness at all times, I mean there are times you search for something, and you end up with "No Results Found" even when that thing is something that's been discussed several times here.

But here is what I do most times, I use Google search to find topics/discussions on this forum.
For example, If I want to find discussions on this forum on buying bitcoin with credit card, I simply open Google search and type...
Code:
Bitcointalk buying bitcoin with credit card
And hit the search button, 90 percent of the result you will be getting are gonna be discussions on this forum partaining to the searched keywords.
Example is the screenshot below...

It's works, just make sure you type "Bitcointalk" first before typing what you are searching for.

Hey, welcome on board but, I don't think it was necessary for you to make two different topics.
There would have been a way to make a topic to engulf all the points you separated. Take note of that.

We have alot of pinned post on different boards of the forum. Do yourself some good to goggle around each board -- most especially -- meta and the "beginners &help" which is prolly the same board we're talking.

Take note of the PROs and CONs and stick around. You'll learn more as time fades. See you out there

Welcome.

Instead of the forum search function, you can also use the google search engine. Just add "site:bitcointalk.org" to google search to limit the results to bitcointalk.org.

Here is an example that you can try:
