I think you should seriously consider losing Potcoin and sticking to BTC. But its your choice.
Definitely no, if you want to make money pick others, more solid bids but if you want to retire I think you should focus on Bitcoin.

No, this portfolio is high likely to make you doomed to work until 70s. Ethereum classic and potcoin? Are you serious, There are a lot of good projects, etc is just a fork trash.
Try adding Bitcoin more, it is a sure investment in time of your retirement. Bitcoin alone can suffice your retirement if you have at least 1btc placed in there.

Is this a troll post? No, there's no way in hell you will be able to retire with that portfolio. You need to find coins that have real world use cases. I have nothing against potcoin but I don't think putting more than 50% of your money in it is a very wise idea. I think you already know the answer, that's why you asked... Put some privacy coins in there like zcash, monero etc. Then load up with some stratis,iota, btc etc.
Switch from POT to BTC and from ETC to ETH and you will be good

The idea that you want to invest long term in Crypto instead of daytrading is promising. This is an emerging technology and if you play your cards right you'll do great. What exact coins to invest in is pure speculation but since cryptos arrived we have learnt some valuable lessons:
1) Investing long term pays off!
Warren buffet says waiting is the hard part. But it's worth it.
2) If possible, use a hard wallet (ledger, trezor etc)
Crypto security may be sound, but firewall/password security on PCs and exchanges can and will be breached.
However, since you DID ask for portfolio advise I think having at least 80% in selected top cryptos (BTC/LTC/ETH etc) and rest in selected smallcaps is a way to go for the long haul.
Sell your potcoin and buy minereum. Also, buy Bitcoin, as it's chances of survival and practical adoption by the mass population are higher than any other coin. Maybe diversify your litecoin earnings, put a couple hundred bucks in SIA as well.
Btw only stupid people need 2 mil to retire, if you get to 750K you can easily buy 3 appartments which you can rent out for about 900 a month (2.7K/month of passive income), and you'll still have enough to invest in some promising startups.

It doesn not look so good, you should add few other coins to reduce risk, add stratis to make 2M it will save you if ever anything happen to others.

you need to diversifie potcoin, it is too much for alt such potcoin, etc is good for long term
Waves were not so well known in april, but coin is getting more and more respect and is seen as one of the most promising in crypto. Sell your Potcoin and enter in Waves and Stratis.

Litecoin and ethereum classic are the ones that can bring your possible retirement. Not the others I think. You can also add Waves to your portfolio but waves is not available in poloniex exchange.

sure you can retire in the next 5 years, i think you don't need to waiting until 5 years because you can retire in anytime you want and you can make big profit for list. i think for that coins, you need to waiting for a while before its increase to the moon so you can soon retire with much of money. you must have big money in your bank account because i see that you have much of bitcoin in the image.

where do u expect him to put his potcoins?in its official wallet! and that goes for any altcoin out there. but for most of them that are unknown you should run the wallet on a virtual machine sandbox to prevent any malicious script from harming your main computer.
in case of potcoin i think i once saw there was an open source paper wallet thing for it which created a green theme paper wallet with pot leaf printed on it

I would seriously cut down on Potcoin. It doesn't have much of a use case right now. BTC & ETH, and frankly anything else, are just as equally capable of being used as currency in the marijuana industry. So you're banking heavily on basically just another coin that happens to have the name "POT". Since a big concern in that industry currently is not being allowed to store pot-earned money in banks, logically you would want to keep those earnings in a stable crypto. And by extension transact in it as well. Just my 2 cents.

Don't take investment advice from a bunch of strangers, you won't get any unbiased advice here. The people here will tell you to invest in the coins they themselves are invested in.
I recommend you research a bunch of coins, and invest in the coins you think will do well in the long term. Take advice from forums with a sprinkle of salt.

you need to make 5114% profit in 5 years (nearly 1022% profit annually) to reach your target. i can tell you one thing, it is not going to be easy at all. specially if you are buying and holding "altcoins" for long term.
in short term these coins do magnificently but when it comes to long term, they are all limping.
and also the short term doesn't last long. it is mostly "an altcoin season" that they are getting pumped and are giving good profits. but in the end they will all have a dump and then a very long down time (winter sleep).

The altcoins move with bitcoin... if there's a winter sleep, bitcoin will drift back down to $500-600 and drift around for years as well.. they move in tandem. We are currently in a bubble. As for marijuana, potheads have enough to deal with just getting it legal and the profits made from becoming a dealer in a legal state, they won't be worried about a crypto currency in my opinion... I'd invest in cryptos based on the technology... XEM and ETH are the two in the top 10 with the best tech. They are both somewhat rich in price, though XEM is far cheaper and has the potential to double, you're not going to retire from buying any of these now at these prices... maybe 6 months ago, or 18 months ago.
get some bitcoin and monero. also it is not a good idea to leave that much on an exchange... you should move those coins into wallets you control ASAP

Replace LTC whit Monero and Steem whit Stratis and I think you have much bigger chances. LTC could go up 30-50$ in 6 months-1year, in same period monero could be 100+.
Steem is just bad for allot of reasons, Stratis is really a solid investment whit real use.

You should study all the other examples from the history of world economics where the market got heated up too quickly. And then of course you should be f**king scared if you still insist to go on with your plan.

It seems to me that legal cannabis industry will want its own coin and potcoin has the largest market cap of any marijuana focused coin. Looks like the smartest option.

I think the only coin that might still exist in 5 years is BTC and you only own 1 Satoshi of that, so NO you won't get $2,000,000.

reduce pot quite a bit and etc a little.
sprinkle in some bitbay then blocknet on dips and you will be standing a far better chance.
try for some real outsider chancers with 0.5-1btc too.
i would grab a bunch of ltc - long term looks good.
research it all first to make up your own mind.

It hit a high around the current price in 2014. A year later is was down to around the $200 mark for almost a year and then started climbing again to where it is now. Cyrpto is not like "real world" investments and you can't treat it like that. So no, not a chance in hell of you achieving your goal. Unless, the world turns to hell and people turn to Crypto. But somehow I think that if the world would turn to hell, most wouldn't even have electricity and/or the internet so not like they could use it anyway.

in any case this is what I think:
ETC: is a good choice, I just hope you have bought it before 23rd. also there are changes in ETH which can cause ETC to become that much more powerful and useful because of the difference it will have with ETH. and the more decentralization helps too
LTC: is obvious these days with the SegWit being 100% sure activated.
POT: I also don't get this choice, specially 11.7BTC worth of it
STEEM: I will never choose this for a long term investment in a million years. the supply is huge and they gave and are giving a lot away so silly and create a big sell pressure.
