I used MEW for all ERC20 tokens and never had a problem, of losing tokens or being hacked. But i also think now if possible for all people who use ETH and ERC20 tokens, to get a hardware wallet (ledger nano or trezor) to be more safe. I also want to move some tokens this month to ETH address on hardware wallet to be 99% safe side.
MyEtherWallet actually a very good wallet for storing ethereum and tokens at its base. If you store your keys correctly, then hacking can be avoided. Keep your keys safe on external media and never pass them on to other people, otherwise you will not be able to restore access to your wallet.
To prevent your wallet from being hacked, you don’t just need to shine your wallet key, but these are very frequent phenomena.

Maybe because of their careless in their private key that is why there are some Myetherwallet got hacked.
Just be careful in your private key save if it in the computer that are not connected in the internet and never import your wallet in the decentralize exchange use the secondary security to secure your wallet.
I don't recommend software-based wallets because users can make mistakes. I would recommend using a hardware-based wallet at reasonable prices
in my opinion the MEW wallet is still very safe, but you have to be really careful to save the private key, if you use a hardware wallet, it's not free and you have to buy it
It is safe if you are responsible user and you are aware of security measures.Having a hardware wallet is worth it.
This may cost some money but its all worth for the security of your money.
I am going to stick to meta mask for the meantime. If you are not living in remote areas where getting the latest nano s, then it is the best I can say to keep all your coins on. As for exchanges, I do not keep huge sums of money there.
If you keep your private key there is no chance to hack you MEW because private key is one of your security not to hack your MEW. From the start when I use MEW I never encountered that they hack my account because I always kept and no one can know my private key so that they didn't have it. You need to secure and no one can know you private key for you to protect you MEW and your coins.
You can still use mytherewallet for all your transaction, all you need to do is to is to use metamask to connect your account on the mew, I have been using this form before

There are really a lot of hacking events that happened on MEW I think Metamask is the most safer wallet for me because it's not only a simple wallet it will going to prevent your from some website that has a malicious content.

I am not familiar with MEW hack, maybe you confused it with phishing sites which use similar domain name and when you enter your private key they see it and then they steal funds.Using it for few years, so far no problem with it.

It is good also to keep them separately but to be sure that you have keep their respective keys also. Due to a lot of scamming sites similar to the legit one, we cant actually neglect some instances that some individuals have accidentally visited and access their wallet. And it is sad that they lost everything inside their wallet.

Actually it safe, it depends on how you secure your wallet. Make sure to book-mark the website to avoid opening phishing site when opening your wallet. Make sure that your computer is malware free. Just to be safe, try using hard ware wallet to secure all your crypto fund.
MEW is a pretty good online wallet. I think it's the most used wallet online by those who own altcoins. It is a safe and well-known wallet. If you have Keystore and is saved in a safe place in your PC where you only have access, you have nothing to worry about. However, if you do not trust online wallets (MEW is the best), you can buy a hardware wallet, such as Ledger Nano S. It's not expensive and will cushion your investment over time. It is a very good investment. I have one and I am very pleased. Your personal data is totally safe with Ledger. But, I'm sure in the MEW, no one hacked you, but you yourself had trouble.

It happended when i fill a bounty form but not officially email, and when i know that a scam email that is to late.

Myetherwallet is just an wallet erc-20 for creating and manage your asset, other service same of mew, when other pwople know your private key they can access and manage your asset in wallet using other wallet services

You can use myetherwallet, buy I recommend you to access to your wallet by .json file, which can be password protected. Or use metamask addon.Because copying and pasting privatekey is too risky - if your computer is infected hackers can easily watch what are you doing.
Myetherwallet is good if you're security conscious, you have to be very careful about which links you click on and sites you input your private keys, so also jealously guard your private keys by keeping it in hard copy and don't share with anybody, if you take those tips serious you can't get hacked and the other thing which is the most secured wallet and no one can hack is hardware wallets such as s Ledger nano and trezor

It's not normal to have this kind of situation every day. You must be doing something wrong. Be sure to store the Private key correctly. Also, I think if you have something like this, your computer / phone may not be clean. First of all, I suggest you do a scan on these issues. Then MetaMask I guess is one of the reliable options for the moment. You can also try some hardware wallets.
MEW is ok, but you should be very attentive and careful while using it, also you can instal Metamask extension or use hard wallets.

there is no fundamental problem for ERC-20, and if any hacking the target is always random. as long as I'm always safe, everything is safe.

The hacks happen due to the negligence of the security keys getting compromised. Taking some steps to ensure the safety of your security keys would prevent any MEW hacks I think. But if you're still not satisfied you can look into buying a hardware wallet, such as ledger nano and a few other wallets worth looking into. I have never experienced problems for ERC-20, perhaps the biggest problem is the delay in transactions. and even then rarely, the point is you don't give a private key and protect your computer from phishing attacks

I've been using MEW ever since and didn't bumped into any hacking incident because I always keep my key safe and of course will not let myself be scammed by any phishing sites. Anyways, imtoken is another good wallet, or you can protect much more your new with the help of metamask.
The MEW users are getting hacked most probably clicked on some phishing sites. You have to be very careful about your private keys. I would suggest using a hardware wallet if you want to be safer.
I think that the best thing is to save the tokens in the external wallet. However, not all people can afford it and use it. The online wallet is actually secure if you are careful in saving the private key and using it when online. We must ensure that we log out and save the private key offline so that it will be saer from being hacked.

No one is hacking MEW wallets. If people are losing money out of their MEW wallets then it is simply because they are either using fake MEW sites or because they are somehow exposing their private keys. Otherwise MEW is just as safe as any other wallet. Of course, if you want full peace of mind then hardware wallets like ledger are your only solution
Yeah, people keep telling that MEW is hacked and more nonsense without realizing that it's not the website that got hacked but the user is getting phished.That's also why MEW and Mycrypto forbid direct log in through privatekey using the website for this main reason.
It seems to me that the most reliable purse for storage of cryptocurrency is ledger nano. It isn't possible to crack it without the USB stick.

I don't believe there is any best ERC 20 wallet out there. Any wallet can be hacked if you loose grip on your own security. If you are careful with your mew, you may never be hacked. 
Nano Ledger S for me is the best wallet whether for ERC20 tokens or not.

I suppose this is the safest way to keep your tokens in spite of "online" wallets, which MEW really isn't - it is merely an interface to access the wallet. But do have a look into so called hardware wallets like TREZOR or Ledger. They are the safest so far at the moment. It's also OK if you print out the private key and keep it in a safe somewhere guarded.

People keeps telling that its much better to use Metamask, my friends keeps telling mo to use metamask because its easier in website, but in mobile phone i dont actually know.

I think private key it's pretty safe or you can access with Json fiile, but if you want to be more safe you can spend your money to buy nano ledger or trezor. If your access your MEW ini your home i think it will be safe, if you just using prive key, just be carefull about phisiing site.
If you use unknown software frequently or divulge your private key, then no wallet can keep your coins safe! Remember that the best protection comes from your cautious operation!

I use about 3 forms of ethereum wallets, MEW, imtoken and metamast. My MEW has never for once been hacked. Those who were hacked were those that clicked on phishing sites. Of a truth, fishing sites exist. So, you just need to be careful at all times not to click on phishing sites.
