Export your private key and go to metamask, more better than my ether wallet who required every private key for access or transaction. I things, the reason because you not set up the right gas limit.

Gas limit from sending ETH and Token was really different, sending Token have more gas limit than sending ETH. Better you use METAMASK, on there you not really to fill up the gas limit metamask will give you suggested gas limit and you just need to pick witch fee you are gonna to pay.

thank you saved me , i tried metamasak now and i think it will work because it showing me that i have to pay 17$ as fees unlike etherwallet that shows me nothing, i would do anything to get rid of that error i swear, thanks for everyone.

Hello , any one can help with this problem in the screen shot ? it happens to me when i tried to send token from myetherwallet to an external wallet and i have enough money to pay the fees but its not working and i dont know why ..

i think you don't have enough ethereum to pay the fee, because its seems the gas fee was negiative mate
try to send about 0.01 ethereum to your wallet

Are you sure you already choose the right network in MEW? Some people have problem just because he choose testnet not a main network of Ethereum.

First using myetherwallet is not advisable when security is the top priority cause there have been a lot of issue of people getting the wallet hacked and concern the problem you're experiencing and security I will advise you to integrate metamask through google extension using your wallet private key.

Make sure your wallet is able to send that token. Some of ERC-20 token reserve the right to frozen wallet address. If owner frozen your wallet by smart contract then you will unable to send that token,  If they have a telegram group, Then i suggest you you ask them about it.

update:
i tried everything but still not solving, im setting higher gas to pay but the error is still appearing

I had similar problems three times with different tokens.
Twice it was the fault of a too low gas fee - in your case, make sure that you haven't set something manually.
The third time it was the token's fault - that is, I didn't know that the dev team make swap of the token for another one. The problem was solved when I contacted dev team and they explained to me how to swap correctly.

I think there is something wrong on how you send the token, first its been a long time since I send a token using myether, why its negative gwei, if you are having trouble using that, try to use metamask, maybe you will not be in trouble, but be careful using that, also double check if its the correct myetherwallet address.
As an alternative, you can use MyCrypto desktop wallet, I have the same problem then I shifted to MyCrypto desktop wallet and the transaction wet smooth, if you can't find the token you can add it by filling the contract token, MyCrypto destop wallet is much better than MyEtherwallet and besides there's always a risk putting your private key in a web based wallet.
I faced a similar challenge  encountered by the OP when I wanted to send my YOUC token from myetherwallet to an exchange it was also giving the same error 'gas required exceeded allowance' however after downloading MyCrypto desktop wallet and followed the procedure and procees explained above I was able to send the token successful, I believed that is the best method in solving the error kudos to him

I believe you need to tweak the gas limit a bit.
Standard is 21000, maybe increase it to 22000 or something else.

I also often experience the same thing when transactions use myetherwallet, in my opinion it is better for you to import private keys to metamask or trustwallet to make transactions easier.

Please, try this https://download.mycrypto.com/

It's a recommended wallet and you can download it and install it in your desktop. It has been years i have used mycrypto and i never encounter any bug like MEW.
This is a better version than MEW dude. It will be solving your problem instantly. Never use MEW online again to access your wallet.

Try using metamask or imtoken if you use mobile because what I know is that myetherwallet often has problems like that when we want to send a token

How much gas fee you tired? Currently 174 Gwei is the required amount of gas fee for the faster transaction so make sure that you have enough ETH to cover all the fee and then try again. If you still can't send then simply access your wallet via metamask using private key then its going to resolve.

I assumed here that the problem of OP is the Gas fee, I did this a months ago when I was moving my old token to exchange, it required me to have a balance on my Ethereum at least $7 dollars ad far I remember, you will not hit the "send transaction" button unless if the required fees will acquire.

You can check it here always if you want to know how much the Gas fees.
https://ethgasstation.info/

It seems so high because the Ethereum network as of now is always in traffic condition.

A few days ago I had a big problem that I could not transfer my bitcoin from my account to another account I could not transfer bitcoin from my ether wallet it became very annoying for me then finally after much thought another  Has given me a solution from which I have easily benefited. Some problems seem very annoying to us wallet

So you tried to send BITCOIN from MEW? Tongue  MEW only supports ethereum and tokens so how did you manage to get bitcoins into your ethereum wallet first?

@OP try this,

Deposit at least $50 of eth into your wallet first and then try again to send your token for sure it will use smart contract so its not a single transaction only and it cost a lot now to send tokens in eth network the error is clear: gas required exceeds allowance --- means you need a more eth for gas fees try the recommended settings do not customize the gas fees.

I think the problem is with your gas limit, that's if you have enough ETH in your address. What gas limit are using for transferring the token?

Can you describe in more detail what you are trying to do? All I can see from the screenshot is, that it's a contract issue.

I suggest to read this information:
https://support.mycrypto.com/troubleshooting/sending/gas-required-exceeds-allowance-or-always-failing-transaction

This error can be caused by a few reasons, including:

- The gas limit required for your transaction is higher than the block gas limit. You can see the current block gas limit for the Ethereum mainnet here.
- Contract execution for your transaction will fail, so the gas limit cannot be estimated.

In the case that the gas limit for the transaction is too high, you can send multiple transactions with the contract interactions you want to do, rather than to do a single transaction with a large execution cost. If you're not sure how to do this, you can reach out to us through the contact form, or reach out to the developers of the contract you are interacting with.

clearly im trying to send out a token from myetherwallet to an external wallet , i have enough eth to pay the fees but i still having this issue like in the screen shot , i've contacted the token team to ask about if there is any problem in the contract and i hope i can find a solution.
The current standard gas is 269Gwei and it costs around $10 if your costs are more then increase it because now the Gwei is unstable every time it changes.
If your costs have been met while there are still problems in MyEtherWallet then you need to try TrutWallet or ImToken, you only need to enter your private key there and try sending with the token you want.

i will try this as well , thanks

Make sure you have checked the recommended fee for making the transaction. This will help you send token without long traffic jams due to the little fee you use. If you have enough or more costs, please use more than the current standard. This will make your transaction faster.
