At the end the wait eventually paid off which is something to be happy about. Recently, HiBTC has been in the news and it has been for a bad reason or negative comments. I use HiBTC and I have not had any issues but for things like this to be coming up here and there means they really need to up their game and ensure customers satisfaction which is the sole aim of every business that is trying to register itself in the mind of participants in the market.

In terms of worst customer support issues, there are lots of trading platforms who have been tagged like that nowadays. Their one of the reason: mass volume of tickets.

That is all based on users experience that's why everytime someone is asking me which is the best trading platform, I always respond that they must try it by themselves and sees if that will pass their expectations. Like on HitBTC, others got a bad experience to them while others are comfortable using their platform. Same goes to other trading platforms, such as Bittrex, Poloniex, "Y0BTCit", etc.

Thanks for sharing your experience. That will served as a reference for those HitbTC users out there who will have the same situation.

3 weeks ago, I decided to buy 50 usd in SNC. I bought my ETH and made the transfer to HitBTC. After a few hours, I noticed that the transaction was already in the blockhain but I still did not have the money in my account so I decided to read the section Where is my deposit?

When I finished reading, I realized that HitBTC does not accept ETH deposits from contracts. Why do not they inform me before making my deposit? Why do i have to learn that when I lost my money and I have to go to the where is my deposit section?

I wrote a ticket to support and received an automatic response indicating that most of the problems were solved in a maximum of 48 hours or sooner.

The next answer arrived 3 days later and I was still without my ETH:

Dear Trader, Thank you for reaching out.
Please accept our apologies for such a delay in response.
It seems that you've felt ETH from the contract. But receiving money from contracts is not available on HitBTC, it is important to remember that.
We will proceed your transaction manually and contact you after that. Thank you for your patience.

I thought that finally the problem was going to be solved but it was not even close. The next day I received the following email:
Dear Trader,

The issue you reported requires additional investigation.
We have escalated the issue to our second-level support experts and flagged it as high priority.
We will keep you posted on the progress.

They where not supposed to simply do the transaction manually? I do not understand what experts are they talking about ...
After that, absolute silence for 15 days. Finally, after almost 3 weeks I finally received the email indicating that I had the ETH in my account. Again I thought the problem was close to ending.

When logged in the website, I decided to transfer my money from the main account to the trading account. When I clicked, I received a message saying "currency operations not available". I was another two days without being able to make my trade.
After that, I finally managed to make the transfer to the trading account and buy my SNC 3 weeks after the initial thought.
I made my purchase and when I was preparing to make the withdrawal, I was informed that SNC withdrawals are not available.

After a lot of suffering, I finally managed to withdraw my SNC and I do not intend to use HitBTC again not even by mistake.
In the end, I made my purchase, I received my money, etc. But I do not understand how an operation that usually takes 30 minutes, took more than 3 weeks.

The only positive thing: My ETH almost doubled in price in those 3 weeks.

I doubt that HitBTC is a scam but they have the worst costumer service or support, they cant solve problems in a decnt time, etc. I would recommend you stay away.
