Don't use bittrex.

I made a deposit of aprox 10K USD in crypto and because of their technical problems the deposit didn't get credited as usual.

Now they tell me that they have to manually check it and that it could take a month or more and this if it finally gets credited, maybe I "lose" my coins, they don't assure me that it will be credited even having blockchain tx id proof.WTF

This is unacceptable, avoid this exchange at all costs.

Bittrex also STEALS the change when u make a trade to EVERYBODY.  I complained and they ignored me.  They take hundreds of dollars from each user a year.

Example.  You put order to buy at $5 and the lowest sell is $4.50,  They keep .50 when u buy from the $4.50 guy/   Usually its when u buy from more then one seller.

After 2 Months Bittrex finally said we will not give your coins. This is the exact reply from Bittrex that I got by BBB.

"Federal economic sanctions law prohibits U.S. companies, such as Bittrex, from engaging in economic transactions with the residents of certain countries, including North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba, and the Crimean Region. Our Terms of Service, which users agree to when they sign up, prohibits such individuals from signing up for our service. In mid-October of last year, we learned that certain individuals may have signed up for service in violation of law and our Terms of Service. When we learned of this possibility, we immediately suspended certain accounts pending a compliance review.

We have now completed our compliance review with regard to this customer and have confirmed that they are a resident of a territory, which is on the U.S. economic sanctions list. Under federal law, this account must remain suspended, pending direction from the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control. We will keep the customer apprised of developments as we receive instructions.  As a U.S.-based company, Bittrex must be compliant with all U.S. laws and regulations. Because this situation is beyond the control of Bittrex to resolve, we would ask you to close this complaint."

It's a fucking robbery. they first let us deposit and then does not let us withdraw.
Anyone knows what should we do now?

Their response does make sense even though its not good.  What country are u in?  Use VPN next time with a real exchange

SCAM - unethical business - not customer friendly - AVOID THEM!

They put BTG wallet in maintenance 11 days ago, making tons of deposits inaccessible. They are lying that they need feedback from developers. (Meantime, other exchanges fixed BTG issues in days.)
And Bittrex's support is unable to help, actually they have no willingness to solve the issue.
(And they are forcibly closing the support tickets without any meaningful work. )

Couple of days ago Bittrex upgraded my account to enhanced verified after a month but my account is still disabled.Still no withdraw.
I closed all the tickets and opened new one. I can do nothing but waiting.

Value of my coins was around $600 when Bittrex decided to disable everyone and now they worth around $3500.

Again just for proving you guys that Bittrex is a shitcoins racist exchange I should note that no single Iranian account has been enabled since mass account locks.

Something similar has not happened to me, I do not normally withdraw a lot of bittrex money but I understand that if you withdraw 10 bitcoins you must register some document that validates your identity, they say that in 7 days I should receive the validation, I did it about a month ago and until now I have not been approved for validation.

Maybe there is something wrong with the documents that you send. It only took me 30 minutes to verify my account on Bittrex. I uploaded my passport and mine latest picture. Have you tried contacting their support team? I understand your frustrations about these issue. For me, Bittrex is just doing this for much better security of its users. I have no problem in using Bittrex.

There is no justification for locking users funds like this. The only reason why an exchange would do something like this is getting ready for exit scam. To me it looks a lot like Cryptsy.

Hi guys

Today I want to tell you guys about a shitty exchange. here is the story:
I used to trade in Bittrex months ago for a while until I discovered that the exchange is a pump and dumper exchange and we are likes fish for whales. so I withdrew all my money couple of months ago.
After a while I saw a potential in a coin and the coin I wanted to buy only was in Bittrex.
So I deposited 1 ETH In Bittrex and changed with the Altcoin.
after a month or so I came to withdraw my coins but saw the daily withdraw limit is changed to 0  Angry That's right it means no withdraw unless you verify first. I should note that I had an old account but they changed my account type to New.

So I had only one option: to upload my docs and get verified and withdraw my coins. so I did that and guess what?
My Bittrex account disabled right after I uploaded my docs.
There is no doubt that Bittrex has problem with my nationality and we can now call this exchange shitty pump and dump shitcoins racist exchange.
If Bittrex has problem with my nationality it should prevent me from trading, it's a rubbery if you let the user deposit and don't let him withdraw.

I opened the ticket and wait for the response. but I know the coins are gone

I never deposit even 1 satoshi in my entire life in this scam exchange again.

I'll update this thread if something new happens.

Bittrex steals your money. Be careful.
