A few years is a long time compared to the amount of demand on the Bitcoin.
A lot of stock markets are beginning to consider accepting Bitcoin seriously. The terms changed  "bubble" to "virus" into a wave.
The future is the only one that will judge the sustainability of these currencies but will have an impact shortly.
Let's enjoy the "Wave," it will become a "phenomenon."

That was one of the funniest thing that Andreas Antonopolos have said. Thanks for posting it here and let us remember those things and informed those who have not heard that yet. Andreas has made a big point when he said that those who are laughing at bitcoin today will be forced to join bitcoin at a later time and will have regrets themselves while we are happy and living in riches.

I don't think Bitcoin adoption is really comparable to the rise of automotives. I mean, it's money. Instant payments are already possible now even without its use. Decentralization is its key feature, and even then, I don't think it can change the world to the extent cars did; unless it really does end up toppling governments and taking over finance, of course. But yeah, that's just me nitpicking, which may also be due to my own lack of foresight.

I completely agree otherwise. If nothing else, it at least gives the common people more power and freedom, which is almost never a bad thing.

Nice quote I didn't knew it.
It's still too early. Like the internet in the 90s. Nobody knows what will happen. How will this technology be really used. But I am betting it will change the world

'People doubting if bitcoin can scale is the equivalent to villagers in Germany on horse and carriage in 1895 laughing at Carl Benz as he struggled to drive his car over 3mph, limited in speed by the quality of the roads'

This for me sums up where we are at in the cryptocurrency space, specifically bitcoin. A completely revolutionary technology has been placed on out laps with the potential to improve untold aspects of society yet people are blinded by the existing technologies they use today.

People think because we have banks there is no need for a replacement. Lacking the foresight to see the potential for crypto. Its more than sending transactions, in the same way driving a car has had more of an effect than just getting you from A-B without the need of an animal.

Think about how every single aspect of our lives have been improved by the car. Emergency healthcare, education, politics (people are not bound to one province), even entertainment for crying out loud. Its hard to imagine what the potential is when an idea is first conceptualised.

Too all the people laughing at the prospects of bitcoin, well laugh on and you will have allot of catching up to do in a few years time.
