There's a new section on ebay called Virtual Currency. It's somewhat expensive (maybe 25% more than at an exchange) but it's really easy if you have Paypal.

The question is have Paypal put in safeguards to stop people from chargeback scams? That was the big risk with buying coins from there.

mining be beter i am think way stability

I don't think so...
It is so much more difficult and time-consuming.
Plus, you can find even more scams in mining hardware, but you can hardly find any hardware to get your investment back.

You may want to take a look at localbitcons.
You may be able to find some cash trade there, depending on your location.

Why not the good old cash or even cash deposits (which doesn't include giving your bank details "I think"). PayPal is a big no-selling sign if you check any BTC related place  Wink .

Hi everyone,
I'm new to bitcoins.I've been hitting the faucets for a couple of months now.So far it's the only way thats got me any satoshis so far. Grin thank you faucet owners.
My first attempt to buy bitcoins was just before Christmas. I set up a paypal account(I know,I know..I hadn't read the warnings yet).I don't want to give out my bank details so I go to a site that says it swaps Ukash to PayPal and to BTC.     http://ukash-pin.com/index.php    I got  a Ukash  voucher for £50,used  the site and was instantly ripped-off(lol,a fool and his money....) Result=£50 loss.
My second attempt to buy bitcoins was a few days ago.I set up a Neteller account and loaded £50 onto it,contacted someone on this site to buy 0.1 btc. Everything seemed to be going fine until I tried to send the money from my neteller account to his neteller account . Neteller wouldn't let me do it. I complained to them and they say that if I load my Neteller account with Ukash vouchers then I cant send the funds to anyone except registered merchants. Result= no bit coins but i loaded £50 onto partycasino instead. Grin I'm going to roll £50 on 1 roll on the roulette,if i win ill bet the max again.
My third attempt will probably be this week.I'm going to meet someone in person and use good old cash.
Speaking as a newbie to bitcoins and as someone that is not very computer literate, if buying bitcoins stays as complicated/irritating as it is now then i think that it will always remain as a something thats traded on the stock market only.
I've not given up on bitcoins yet.I'm toying with the idea of selling my landrover for bitcoins.i wonder if i could???hmmmm.

Are you in the UK? There's a couple of easy ways to get coin. Bittylicious is a UK based merchant and it's very simple and quick to get coins but you need to use either bank transfer or Pingit. Zipzap are providing a service soon where you can buy Bitcoins from many stores and newsagents just like topping up your phone. See if there's any close to you here: https://www.zipzapinc.com/

But cash in person is also good, just make sure you don't get ripped off.

Cheers BitCoinDream,
I didn't know about Paypal at the time. I do now
. I checked who accepted Neteller before I signed up with them but despite what their advertisements say, very few places accept Neteller except gambling sites and financial gambling sites. The £50 I lost is gone,i don't know where the slip of paper with the number on it is now.I could afford to lose it so im putting it down as paying for an important lesson. Grin .  Trust no-one on the internet.
Im going to meet someone on localbitcoins soon ,i'll post what happens.

Bitcoin does not need Trust. Satoshi's primary paper describing Bitcoin protocol made it a point that we dont need to trust anyone to use Bitcoin. Just be well informed before u really get into it. Its different than everything u have seen or learnt as of yet in uR life.

If uR story is true, I really sympathize for u. I dint really understand the Neteller thing u said, but the ukash part is quiet clear. Look buddy, if u find ever in uR life that someone is offering u Bitcoin in a method which offers chargeback, directly call him a cheat. U cant buy Bitcoin for Paypal payment, because u can chargeback for 90 days. And if u r within 90 days, I recommend u to file a chargeback for uR payment to Ukash.

best of luck for the upcoming cash transaction ...keep posting.
