I'll try not to get all sentimental on you, but my first year on the forum changed my life. The people here, the lessons and interactions I've had have shaped me as a person and I'm better for it. I've never felt more at home than when I'm here with this dysfunctional bunch.

Just let BitListen play in the background and reflect on everything that BTC has blessed you with.

I hope you get a similar experience from our community, and I hope you have as much of a positive impact on the community as it can have on you.

Welcome to the family.

congratulations, I hope it can inspire and make other members in this forum more enthusiastic about learning and exchanging ideas. Of course, there are many lessons that can be learned here because the many members here make us also able to exchange ideas or just tell stories about experiences in the crypto world as discussion material for learning. This forum is open to everyone from beginners to professionals because the principle of this forum is openness and discussion. that's why beginners or other members are advised to learn a lot in this forum because it does store a lot of learning and information about the crypto world that is rarely found elsewhere. so be grateful that we can get to know this forum and make good use of it.

Congratulations on this achievement @titular  Smiley
Admittedly I also discovered Bitcoin and Blockchain in the same year as you, in 2014.

But I only became an active member a few years in the future!

I would like to share this and I confess this forum changed my life! I would never have imagined that I could earn an income participating in campaigns here on this forum.
I'm earning money to do what I love, teaching and helping others about crypto and blockchain (and of course, being helped too)  Smiley

I acquired a lot of knowledge about cryptoassets and blockchain here at Bitcointalk... And the main thing, I met and make friends with several users here, sharing experiences and acquiring knowledge!  Smiley Smiley

1 year is a long journey for those who don't have any contribution, but it will be fun and looks like a while when you have a lot of contributions to the forum. I see you are a member who continues to be active in every thread, it's not wrong if some senior accounts here provide some merit for you to reward your contribution.

You still have a long way to go and there will be a lot you need to know.
It's almost my seventh year on this forum and this forum has had good developments and many moments that made me even you have a broader perspective on cryptocurrency digital currencies and some of their technologies.

Getting a source of income from this forum is a bonus from what we have done.

If I may say in my own words then all I can say is that we have different path/journey in crypto so, each of us have our own story like how you know about Bitcointalk forum and how much knowledge yoi have gain or learn during your stay in this forum. I am introduced to crypto and in the forum in a bad way where the person who told me that I can earn money in Bitcointalk which is true but what people will see in me is that I am a bounty hunter which will only post and never care what I posted or in short I am only spamming but with the help of those known forum users then it made me who I am this day.

Everybody have different step of bitcoin jubilation and forum jubilation, when I don't know what's Bitcoin, i never knew that i was missing something huge until i come acquainted with bitcoin in 2015, but Bitcointalk forums helps to expand the knowledge i had on bitcoin, and i know vividly that this community will help someone who doesn't know of bitcoin to know better. I use medium to congratulate for ranking so fast for the community, and also know that knowledge doesn't have end point, so in null shell keep on learning.

Congratulation.

I believe everything you earned here is because of your good work you put a very good effort and that's why you are giving a good recommendation for. I also believe that everyone who supported you saw the potentials in you and decided to help you build it.

I believe you will also do the same, supporting those who have good potential in them helping them to build it.

Congratulation buddy on  a full year of excellence. In my few years on the forum i came to learn that knowing how to present your point with enough proof of authenticity and quality content made the difference. The above users you mentioned deserve every accolade but the forum needs more outstanding users with exceptional contents.

pertaining Altcoins one primary advantage the forum has for investors is to guide investors on potential projects that has future potentials to make good ROI in the future. It might not present a direct investment option but for sure an insight for personal research is made available

Congrats, but just bare in mind that you still have a long way to go if you ever want to grow in this forum. One You must ensure you follow up and read people's posts, make more quality posts, research more, and make sure you avoid plagiarism.
Getting to this point is not always easy, but you must remains consistent as you are on this course, and make sure you ensure research is made when you are suppose to make it.

I just passed my 4th birthday on this forum on March 3, 2022. I would say it's been an amazing journey I've had so far on the online forums. I made it to Legendary in 4 years since the merit system was introduced and it was a success.

To the OP, you also seem like a good user to reach Legendary on this forum where the quality of your posts will determine. You just missed your first birthday on the forums last February, so I hope you will be happy to have a long journey on the forum especially to increase your knowledge about cryptocurrencies. Congratulations to you OP. There are many things we still need to learn about cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin, it should be a good one to fill our spare time when we have it.

When I had joined this forum, my wallet was stuffed with loads of ‘promising’ altcoins.

This was also true to me. I don't know but perhaps many of us were attracted by the influence of altcoins during those years when altcoins were rising tens and tens of folds very quickly. Admission on an exchange was even enough for an altcoin to quickly rise in value. Perhaps the part we were wrong about was that we thought the temporary pump meant the project was promising and because of that we kept a lot of those shitcoins.

This forum also gave me the blessing of perspective; What’s considered a lot to one person, could certainly be considered nothing to another, and vice versa.

Such is part of experience, passing through the thin and thick of the forum will but only bring out the best in you.
Accept my Congratulations!

I just joined the forum, hope it will bring me a lot of interesting things

Just as you've heard the testimony from @titular, adherence to instructions and hardworks really pays, more comments will still be made by forum experience members, learn from them and learn to be law abiding by going through all the forum's rules and regulations, beginner help section and the likes and you will have a good experience of the forum.

titular, you have just described the real purpose of this forum, which is to exchange experiences and information, and to become part of a community that has similar interests and desires.
Of course, this forum provides many other opportunities such as earning money through various paid projects, but new members often ignore this other aspect that you have explained very well.
Anyway, congratulations on your personal contribution to this forum and I wish you much success in the future.
I hope the new, young members will learn something from your example.

While my journey with bitcoin started back in late 2014, I recently surpassed one year of being part of this forum.

Congratulations, it's a nice milestone. Smiley

Needless to say, the many contributors to this forum were successful in changing some of my viewpoints with life and with currency.

When I had joined this forum, my wallet was stuffed with loads of ‘promising’ altcoins. Not on the level of my btc holdings, but enough that my present self wouldn’t be too pleased. Reading the various discussions of what currency is and why bitcoin IS what it is, enabled me to see through the VCapitalist garbage that is permeating the web.

This forum also gave me the blessing of perspective; What’s considered a lot to one person, could certainly be considered nothing to another, and vice versa.

While it certainly makes me feel good that I've helped here and there, the actual merit is completely yours.
As you said about perspective: some weight the different opinions, some "know better" and are interested only in those validating their views. Some come here and learn, some others come only after they've got into problems they cannot fix (yes, I know, it can also be a matter of luck - the moment in your life the search engine lands you here).
You seem to have a healthy way of thinking and .. well, that's your merit. The rest just comes from this.

A year on the forum and such success. Your rank in a year has risen as much as some cannot do in a few years. I congratulate you, I think it is not necessary to say how useful you are for the forum.
I see that you are a teacher, so yes, you teach not only offline, but your topics are very interesting here on the forum, so you are a teacher doubly.
Please don't stop, keep up your noble work.
My regards.

Congratulations.

This forum also gave me the blessing of perspective;

Rather than the forum, I would say that it was you who moved to the correct perspective with the help of some forum members. Most of those you name have had a good influence on me or are people I respect for their vast knowledge.

But the forum has a great shitcoin section too, that's why I was telling you that it's not just this forum, something you had to do your part, because there are many people who spend all their time on the forum in the shitcoins sections, hunting bounties and stuff.

Keep up the good work.

I hate to namedrop, but if I had to list some of my favorite personalities on the forum, I would say: mk4, BlackHatCoiner, franky1, pooya87, LoyceV, Welsh, and NeuroticFish. All these accounts have added a considerable amount of value to my experience here.

I look forward to the following years to see what other great discussions unfold.

Thanks for a killer first year!
