The XRP ripple is the cheap representative!

Look at the market cap of ripple. Its one of the most expensive coins.

Well if you are comparing among altcoins it is costliest, but if you believe that in coming years this coins will be like a btc market maker then this coin is the cheapest considering the future value of the money. So now it will depend upon the way you look at it.

I think it does not make sense to invest in Ripple now because of the high market cap. Look at how many people have thousands, ten thousands, 100 thousands, millions of ripple. Probably half of wallstreet traders own ripple secretly. How do YOU plan to ever make any money in ripple? They will all cash out before you and make millions, billions.

If you want a great return you need to invest in small projects that can become big. I make x50 in the last months on quite a few projects.

Most people in crypto just dont seem to understand "buy cheap, sell high"...

Change Your Worlds Build a New Era!
It is because bitcoin is very expensive and newbies are trying to find way to get rich in short time so they choose cheap coins and they hope price will increase 50 or 100 times. Not all coins are going to increase their value so it is like gambling. Bitcoin is different, because whatever people buy eventually they will exchange their cheap coins for bitcoin. It won't grow 100 times but holding bitcoin is like holding gold.

This used to be right but the logic is also extremely bugged and flawed. Because if you assume ETH and BTC (or one of them) keep rising forever, it would mean some day they are worth more than the whole planet, and then they own the whole universe and so on.

At some point Bitcoin cannot rise anymore because all money is in it.

The higher bitcoin is, the slower it can gain. See when Bitcoin was 100 Million. It was easy to go to 200 Million. Needed just one whale to invest really and your bitcoin went from $50 to $100 or whatever. But now bitcoin is 230 billion its a bit harder to double your $15k.

So thats why many people think that bitcoin actually may stay at $15k for quite a long time, and so thats why people go more in Altcoins where many of them can double a day. For several days in a row.
That is all ok but I don't think my logic is extremely bugged and flawed. Big players are waiting for new small players to buy their bags and when there is enough small players big player will just dump bag, small player will panic sell and probably coin will never recover. Then newbie will go with bitcoin or ether because it is much safer than cheap altcoin.

BUY BITCOIN WITH PAYPAL AND CREDIT CARDS
Thank you for your list!

Buy cheap and sell high may sound as a basic advice, but it's all you really need to do in order to succeed in any market. The only little problem is to know when it's cheap...

Also, I'd add to your list Cindicator and Storm. Very good tokens with solid project and competent teams. I really like them, especially Cindicator.

Cheap always good for those coins which have high potential, and being sold at low prices are worth buying.

Sage advice, of course it's easier said than done to pick the right low priced alt coin.  I think if one has the resources a good plan is to put some in ethereum and bitcoin for long term hodling and with the balance go for well researched low priced alts.  If they start mooning don't pull out all the gains, take some out for whatever but leave a lot anticipating even larger gains.

I also hold Linda and on the 2nd quarter, it will go soar like a pheonix because it will be listed in many exchanges and one of them are those popular exchanges like Binance and Bittrex.

As I said earlier, I'm a beginner and I tend to watch coins that are rather popular. If I see the coin is a popular topic in the discussion boards and social media, and especially if there are many positive reviews from people, then I tend to believe it has more chances to be successful. If a coin is not popular at all, and hardly anyone heard of it, I won't touch it.

Are there any coins that seemed to be popular and had potential but failed? Please provide examples

Leading Crypto Sports Betting & Casino Platform
Waves lost the battle in the ICO outbreak. I don't think it will be making a comback as Ethereum keeps rising. Waves is easier for asset creation user-wise but there are more feature rich alternatives like NXT which was pre-existing and now the new Ignis in the Ardor platform. I think that from now on, it'd only be downhill for Waves.

This is really the simplest but most effective advice I've ever had. The last time I actually saw the coin was very low value, but in the last session has increased extremely strong price and help investors believe it received a huge profit. I think that sometimes business philosophy is simply "buy cheapest, sell highest".

Nice info, will take a closer look on those coins. I'm also looking to pick some cheap coins with x10-x50 potential in ~6 months since almost all of top100 coins are way to expensive right now

research SKY, XPEC and NAV. All cheap undervalued gems.

SKY is currently at ~40$. At the start it cost only 1$ apparently. You think there still is room for exponential growth even from where it is now?
NAV has been around for quite a while and it started off costing just a fraction of a cent. At this moment it's just over 4$. It has already grown A LOT.

I just made these assumptions by looking at CMC charts. I was looking for something like these coins, but still at their early stages

good advice from your grandpa .

always look for dirt cheap coin/token even if project is above average then it can give you good returns . low marketcap like prl (in november) , such analysis can give huge returns .

Could you suggest any coins to invest in now? If so, what are these coins and why?
I will not blindly follow you, I would definitely research every coin before investing even 100$.

There are many many many coins, and they all may seem promising... I think 50% is luck and 50% is doing research and making the right choice.. I like this thread because I'm new to cryptocurrency and I don't have a lot of money to invest, so I am doing exactly this. Looking for coins that are cheap and that have a potential to grow exponentially. Because there is no point for me to invest under 1000$ in Bitcoin or Ethereum and expect gains just as quickly. Although it may be possible, right? Still, much better chances are in new coins, especially ICOs

You can earn yourself luck. I went in many coins and have not lost in one.

Sure not all go x20, x30 or even more.... Some go only x3... Some x5.... But its all much better than ETH and BTC indeed.

And if you find a working strategy, why change it? Thats insanity. All selfmade millionaires found ways that WORK and just repeated them again and again. Most losers will buy all the coins that are hyped right now and only lose with the rest while smart ones as us make all the profit.

Wonder my thread gets so few love. Do people not want x30, x50?

Linda was at $3m marketcap when I first mention it on bitcointalk. Now its $60m.

Zoin is still pretty cheap and could go where Linda is now.

As far as privacy coins.

Besides that, I think this might blow up / it already kinda is:

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/high-performance-blockchain/

Tho do your own research. Its already at a few 100 Million.

$12 now.

Yeah you got it right and told us the right things that has a point but you know, "buy low sell high" is a principle of the whole markets tied with shares, stockes, crypto currency and whatever. The era of Bitcoin millionaires has gone and if you lost the train -- it is. No point in spending money on top-20 nowadays, the huge income is on the bottom of the market.

Big thanks for the info and congratulations on your trading success. Your grandpa’s teaching is actually a trader’s golden rule (next to "invest what you can only afford to lose"). We should target those "under a dollar" coins with consideration of their market performance of course.

May the coins be with us and more success to all of us! Aim high!

Its also extremely important to be good with money. Like in a casino most people lose because they will just keep playing til all is gone... I mean, most people do win some in an evening... but they will just keep playing, always wanting more. And in the long run the casino wins obviously even tho some games are pretty fair actually. The winners in casinos know to take a win (and their initial investment) HOME and let it work for them again and again....

Anyone some more info on lampix? Anyone has a source its working together with bmw Huh

Its on their website. The coin is basically just a token for their platform tho. Also I havent researched the BMW stuff further, but such companies usually do a lot of testruns so it might just be a small order, like for an exhibition or something like that. Yet I think the technology of lampix is really exciting, they have some videos on their site too and on youtube. I wouldnt invest too much in this one tho because its basically a bet.. Wink

My grandpa (R.I.P) deserves all the credit for my INSANE success with altcoins. Here is some tips.

This thread should get stickied because here is where the money is. All my x50 or even x100 were low market cap coins. I dont know why people expect Bitcoin or ETH to go x50. Maybe in the long term, why not? But with some promising coins in this market you can make x20, x50 much faster, in weeks or months.

I believe in privacy coins because of my huge earnings in Verge..... but its too late now to get Verge cheap... So Zoin (based on ZCOIN but still much cheaper), Colx (based on PIVX but again much cheaper) and Linda can easily do a "Verge" x50.

If Kim Jong Un goes in they will go x100 lol.

Non-privacy coin suggestions after doing A LOT of research (barely slept for 4 weeks):

Enjin Coin is interesting still too because it might get some huge news.

Opus might become piratebay in the blockchain.

Oyster Pearl got an amazing team, and a great product, they might be really huge.

WAVES (i know, i know) has had a STABLE price now for a VERY long time so they MIGHT explode at some point, tho are still kinda high. It might bore you to death tho because nobody can know WHEN they go up finally.

PIX just formed a partnership with carmaker BMW and might partner with intel, still very low in price.

ALIS could replace facebook some day with an adfree and tracking free social network based on coins

All those i believe can go x50 or x30 at least and thats not in 5 years......... All my x50 and x100 were coins like these and i only started a few months ago.

Good luck everyone and please post other suggestions with a little info on them so we can go all grow together and help GOOD PROJECTS out by owning some of their promising coins. Instead of going in old and tired elephants as ETH and BTC only.
