Nice setup.  If you want to free up some airflow, I'd used the cheapo filters.  You know the blue ones at home depot.  The white pollen filters restrict alot of the airflow.  Just an idea to help with airflow issues.  You can swap them out more often and buy a bunch to keep handy without breaking the bank.

Ya once I get more of the pollen relief window air filters I'll be able to stack 3 of them side by side and fill up the window opening. 

The media hvac furnace filter does look ugly and can't handle the rain, but it was a quick temp fix till I get the window filters.

Neat way to do it.  I'm not sure i like regular filter media being exposed to outside elements though. The pollen relief filter looks pretty good though.

Mind posting pictures of your setup? Has me curious

okay found what I was looking for.  They are called bag filters.  However i can't find a place where I can just buy it easily,  I have to email for a quote and I have no idea of cost since they are not listed.

Anybody have any good sources to buy them from?

Any ideas on a good air filter setup? I got 3 mining rigs setup in my room with a 10" can fan exhaust out through the cieling to roof vent.  I have a 33x33 window currently using window air filter like this below and a regular home depot furnace filter.

The adjust window air filter setup is clean and nice,
A standard 1" furnace filter is nice and cheap and large selection of sizes to choose from is nice.

I however don't like the flow rate.  It builds up slightly a  little negative pressure with my 10" q max can fan exhaust even on a large 33"x33 " window.  The exhaust is rated around 900-1023 cfm

I can maybe try larger 4" depth furnace filter or maybe try out those nice data center air filters.

Anybody have a link to where I can buy those data center air filters baffle bags used by bitmain/genesis mining?

Here is my 3 rigs with mostly 1080 gtx ti.  Still needs to be filled up with more gpu's soon.



Here's the 10" canfan Q-max built in muffler.  Very quiet,  Keeps the wife happy.  I originally had a can fan 10" pro but it was 2 loud and couldn't sleep at night even with external muffler.  The 10" can fan Q-max built in muffler has a metal hub but plastic blade.  I don't feel to comfortable running it in 100 degree+ weather.  I wish they made a built in muffler metal blade Q max,  I know that one miner guy Angry Chicken had issues with his vortex 8" plastic fan rubbing against the housing due to heat warpage/negative_pressure/plastic hub,  but so far my can fan pro 10" has no issues and ran them for a month in the hot summer weather upon inspection.



10" ceiling diffuser to suck out the hot air.  Room is cool as the ambient temps.



10" external muffler.  Keeps it even more quiet,  Probably overkill. Exhaust up to the roof with a 10" goose neck vent



Ant miner L3+ with home depot box with sound insulation.  Drops the noise by 50 percent or more,  Keeps the wife happy.  I was thinking of running that 6" can fan exhaust but realized the 10" vent fan in the room was already enough to keep the asic temperatures at around 61 degrees max with 3800 fan speed 4000 rpm fan speed max. I may try the 6" can fan exhaust and muffler on antminer just for fun and further temp drops and wear on the main ant miner fans
