i use a VPN but just want to be sure if my original IP has ever been logged.

WHY???  Planning a big scam?

scams are not worth it, once you get away with the first you wanna do it again and that is where greed gets you caught. why scam when you can become rich from trading cryptocurrencies. i have made so much from bitcoin it is unbelievable. what i would have made in 7 years took me 1 year to do.

If you use a VPN to hide your ISP IP from the webmaster, you just should setup a reliable firewall solution yourself instead of trusting any webmaster to tell you that you're really anonymous.
As long you trust the webmaster, you don't need a VPN.

The IP logged on bitcointalk would be the same IP displayed when you access:
http://www.myipaddress.com

You do not need to worry about your account logged in on multiple computers. When you click logout, bitcointalk logs out all your sessions.
The OP is likely wanting to know the specific IP addresses that were used to access his account in the past. I don't think this is information that will be made available to a user as it would be possible they are using a purchased account and the mods don't want the purchaser knowing the IP address of previous account owners

you can't view the log of IP on the board (only webmaster can do this on the database, remotly controled usually).

The IP address may differ on each request, depending on how your online connection is set up. Looking at myipaddress isn't reliable if you don't know anything about the network setup.
