By choosing yourself the components of the pc you could have saved some money, there are plenty of websites which offer also the possibility to test your self-made pc before shipping.

It should be called Samsung V2. Apple doesn't deserve there own name. SAMMY & Nokia make everything for them! Apple only designs there phones. Nothing in the hood belong to them!

You should have built your own PC, it's much easier than you'd think and you can ask for advice and help in reddit.com/r/buildapc

Don't forget www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace  Tongue

You're now part of the master race OP.

Haha, that subreddit is awesome!

However, the main reason I "got out", is that nearly everything they "created" was either bought, borrowed, or stolen. (http://thumbnails.visually.netdna-cdn.com/apple-they-didnt-build-that--ideas-apple-bought-borrowed-and-stole_5093d2032a729.jpg)

I didn't know about this..  Shocked

I didn't either until I found it via an "Apple Sucks" search. Needless to say, that was the main reason I got out. I didn't want to keep supporting a company whose products really aren't they're creation. I didn't also want to continue support greedy control freaks.

Nice PC there, stay away from apple.

Thanks! When I get my Amazon FireTV with a Prime subscription, I'll be ready to dump Apple TV. When compared to FireTV with Prime, the FireTV w/ Prime beats the shit out of ATV. Even the specs (dedicated GPU!) beat the ATV, and you can get it for $99, the price of an Apple TV. (which just goes to show how cheap Apple is.)

Thanks for all the replies.

I would have built one, but I needed a new computer right now. My Mac was getting ready to bite the dust, and that I'm one of the few who actually like touch screen monitors. Another reason are the USB ports that are built right in. I do still use a mouse and keyboard though as my primary input.

I'll probably build my next one though Wink

The main reason I went with the S5 was because of the UHD video recording; I'm planning to replace my HDTV (from 08) with an UHDTV, thus I wanted any videos I record NOW to take advantage of my new TV Smiley

Touch monitors are not really good for PC, where you have superior and more precise tool for pointing things - mouse.
Too bad that you buy whole PC put together by some manufacturer and did not assemble it yourself.
It would be a lot cheaper. Another good thing is that you abandon Apple, great move, never buy anything from Apple again.

It's good to have the option, a hybrid notebook is not, bad you can use it as a tablet when you need to, and when you need you have the keyboard and mouse at your disposal

doesn't the htc one have a shitty camera? PCs are nice, but there are still drawbacks. still, i'd take it over anything apple any day.

Nope, the camera on the One is fine, it's not the sharpness thing in the world, but you get for that a better low light performance (when you are out at night you can take picture with no worries takes picture in pub or club and they are still visible) something that most other phones cannot much except maybe the Nokia Lumia 1020 and the pureview 808, not to mention the cool stuff you can thanks to the second back sensor (focus less picture than you can focus later in post processing if you want for example) and also the One has the best front facing camera right now

NoooOoOOooOoOOoOo
why didn't you build your own PC and enjoy the process of doing so, and got an HTC One instead of the S5 Sad, while yes the S5 is a good device, but I feel like in every way the One is a better device overall, unless you like to take pictures in broad light with your phone

Good part: bye bye Apple which has the bitcoin community seal of approval

I am so glad that you cut your connection with Apple. Closed architecture of Apple devices will be always behind PC in my opinion.
PC systems are open to modifications and promote evolution on computer market.
Enjoy your new PC. Also PC gaming is the best in the world Smiley

Yesterday, I bought myself a new PC; It's an Acer Aspire T and I also got the touch-enabled monitor, which is 23". I also picked up a Galaxy S5 which is even better than the Nexus 5. To my surprise, I don't mind the "plastic" back.

I am so glad that I am out of the Apple ecosystem as they're products are way too much overpriced and not up gradable. Not to mention they're absolute control freaks that can't stand innovation. (They seriously think that an cylinder Mac Pro without an SD slot is innovation and revolutionary? Try again, Apple. However, the main reason I "got out", is that nearly everything they "created" was either bought, borrowed, or stolen. (http://thumbnails.visually.netdna-cdn.com/apple-they-didnt-build-that--ideas-apple-bought-borrowed-and-stole_5093d2032a729.jpg) Of course, on Apple sites the comments are "oh, that's flawed" and other brainwashing BS.

Thanks to the community for waking me up!
