If you have a wallet that support that fork, than yes, you will have the new BTC in your wallet( There might be also tutorials to how extract it from your wallet). But you have to know that the forked coins won't have the same value of the original BTC, and they could lose their potential soon.

Chances are that most wallets do not support the forks though. You need to do some research to find which ones will work and which ones won't and then transfer over your Bitcoins before October 25th or even 24 or 48 hours before, to be safe and get your free money.

If you have 1 Bitcoin in your wallet and you are not using it for 40 years and hard fork are being running in that span of years:
-Yes, you will receive the value that you have if if the fork happen in bitcoin and it will support by your wallet. It is a free coin thats why many bitcoiner right now are hoarding their coins on there wallet.

-No, you cant have exact value as you have in your wallet if your wallet didnt support the fork. And also if you dont spend your coins on your wallet LOL

Yes and no.

All forks will have your coin at that address (or rather your adress will have a value of 1 coin in all forks).

However the abandoned forks are worthless and are no longer mined and thus not spendable, so you still have in total only the value of the 1 coin in the surviving fork as spendable value.
