thanks, so you are sure that if the buyer of the card from the store claimed he gave to someone else as payment then they would reward the party who (i would think) is supposed to be complying with the TOS by purchase the card and punish the party who simply received the card?

is there a precedence of this happening? (with the companies other than greendot)

if the cards were purchased with a credit card (this is possible) then yes they can be reversed. The purchaser would need to file a dispute with their credit card company who would withhold payment from the card loading company who would reverse the funds off the card.

I am also fairly certain that you could attempt to have the funds reversed via social engineering which should be fairly easy considering that you are not suppose to be trading/selling these cards, but should only be loading them onto your own account (as per their TOS)

does anyone know for sure whether or not other companies that do card loading type services (like my paypal cash and vanilla) allow reversals on loads?  i was surprised to hear about the whole mp reversal thing (i haven't bothered trading for a long time because greendot banned me because i was withdrawal instead of purchasing with the loads, so i'm out of the loop)

but i decided to look up one of my favorite traders from before i got cut off from greendot, msbitcoin and just discovered the drama about reversals. because i was considering getting back into trading using other prepaid card companies and just not withdrawing it from atms to keep it steady... but now i'm a bit spooked to see what happened with moneypak and i imagine other companies offering essentially the same service might follow precedence.

any thoughts or more importantly matter of facts?
