Looks good but I can't justify purchasing one with that pricetag lol. Probably something I'd buy if I performed really greatly with my investments this year.

@MK4, dude good luck with your investing. Truly. I hope you outperform so you buy the stax and tell everyone how rad it's going to be!  Cheesy

Furthermore, @SFR10, I did the electrum as an administrator, but not LL as an admin so I still have so fenagling to do with all that.

I'll lock this topic for now and unlock it when I have successfully completed a signed message process through electrum with my ledger. I'm trying to stake an address to that thread like I did last time with the help of Little Mouse.

Went to windows settings and removed device.
Did you immediately plug it back in to reinstall it or you restarted your computer first?

Anyone else have had this problem before?
I'm not a Ledger user, but I remember reading "some" users were able to make it work while giving administrator rights to Electrum [you might want to do the same with LL as well].

I'm excited for the new Ledger Stax coming out. How about you guys?
I'm not that excited Tongue

I've always had problems with connecting my Ledger device to software wallets(mostly MetaMask) when the Ledger Live app is open. If you leave that app open(or any other app that connects to your Ledger), try closing it to prevent potential interference.

I don't want to try anything else without someone else's input here. Anyone else have had this problem before?
Thousands of people have many issues with ledger nono X, it's one of the worst hardware wallets in the world.
Most problems are coming from bad battery and firmware issues, but in your case I would first make to sure to have latest firmware update and Bitcoin app in ledger live.
Ledger recently released new update and they changed a bunch of things, app size increased again for some coins (surprise, surprise).
If everything is updated I would try connecting with some alternative software wallets that support ledger, for example Sparrow wallet.

I am in fact using a ledger nano x. ._.

Just my luck I guess hahah, I was a newbie when I got it and never even used it for it's true intended purpose like most of you guys on here do.

The ledger nono x got me laughing my ass off tho LOL. I'll definitely never forget that. I'm excited for the new Ledger Stax coming out. How about you guys?

Maybe try a different usb cable and a different usb port on your computer? Some times the communication can be lost because the cable is a usb 2 and the port is 3 or damage to the cable can cause interference and not a strong enough communication to the ledger but can be used for other things.

I've used a trezor with electrum before so can only speak from that experience but you normally have to disconnect the device and then restart the software on your computer that lets the hardware wallet interact with electrum. If you miss out that step with trezor the previous wallet often holds a lock on the device (you might just have to pair them before loading up electrum too).

I turned my hardware off then off again. I assume that will reset whatever software is allowing electrum and ledger to talk to each other.

I even blew air from my mouth into the usb-c female and male ports of the ledger and the usb-a male/female for my hardware. Still can't get electrum to read it.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled electrum. Still nothing.

I think its time I get a new PC lmao.

I've tried a few things.

Went to windows settings and removed device.
Went inside ledger security and removed Bluetooth pairings.

I don't want to try anything else without someone else's input here. Anyone else have had this problem before?

Thanks again!
