The forum is not similar to a school. It is a school. Infact, how many schools teach what we learn here? It does not only have to be bitcoin lessons, there are other aspects of this forum that you can learn other things that are not bitcoin related. Politics, religion, gambling ethics, relationship coaching are all there. Just name it. And it also provides financial tips for keeping the body going.
Each user can choose their own interests in the forum from the start, so they have some freedom about that. I mean every user can learn about bitcoins, wallets or rather be a technical user. Several others have an interest in contributing as scam buster, spam buster or whatever, and there are plenty of interests to choose from.

Learning is not only limited to one thing, and in general, this interest must be owned from the start. Focusing on interests will allow users to thrive on forum, and lots of people have proven that.

Not sure about you guys — but while I love Bitcointalk, it's funny how much unnecessary praise-posts it's getting lmao. We're getting cult-like.

We all know its for some merits. Cheesy

And but about OP he is not really that much forcing atleast comes with some contents to read instead of posting the same contents over and over by newbies like how to make money, how to get rich, how to get some merits...

I believe that one of the two or more reasons people visit this forum is to learn things. The forum is similar to a school where you must remain disciplined and law abiding in order to interact with other members. Those who refuse to do so usually end up on the wrong side of the forum and have their accounts tagged. No matter how bad you are, when you get here, you'll definitely learn something new that will change your life for the better.

Giving: I saw members giving selflessly to the campaign manager Yahoo and I was touched. Recently I saw a thread for support of victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria and unconsciously I have started learning that I must not help only my relatives but I must extend help even to persons I don't know.

This should be done, helping not only through this forum, but many forums or other places that can be used as a means of helping people in need.
But you also have to know who to help and who to avoid.

Some members who open a charity to help someone sometimes have bad intentions behind it.
Scammers take advantage of this condition to collect as much money as possible by saying that it is for charity.

I am always shocked when I see comments like this one.

This guy thinks it is to "think out of the box" to avoid plagiarism.
Omg.

Man, you can still copy paste contents from the web, just put it in quotes and the URL it came from.

This is no big deal and thispolicy doesn't stimulate creativity. This is just like basic form of communication and writing ethics
A phenomenon that continues to occur. Thinking outside the box is not blamed, but trying to avoid such plagiarism is too much.
As you explained, we can still copy some excerpts of content from other places or websites by including the original URL and that doesn't violate plagiarism.
Even an essay work requires a reference or written source as proof that they are quoting from several of these websites.

Post with lots of praise, worship, worship, deify and say beautiful and heart-touching words because you continue to love bitcointalk.
It's like being in a fairy tale with lots of stories that make the reader thrill with a series of words of praise.

This forum is the best if you want to learn different things in life and not just about bitcoin, crypto, finance, politics, economics, etc. You name them all and you might find everything in here. It's all complete package and what I've learned a lot is about finance (bitcoin, alts, economics).
That's why if we're not happy with this community, you're not seeing the light and the help that it's giving for free. Most resources can be found in the web but bitcointalk is something else and to mind you, satoshi was here, founded it and once has been active in here. You will feel that proud moment.
Precisely this one is the best. Everything you want to discover and learn about life is almost here, but you won’t learn it easily if you will never explore the forum itself and take time on making DYOR as everything here also need thorough research so that the learning will be more effective. And since the main focus here is bitcoin and it’s blockchain technology, expect that most of the topics here are closely related to bitcoin which I think are great advantage on our part so we can prepare ourselves if ever bitcoin becomes a global currency in the future.

Well, we all know if those praises are true or not, maybe just for the sake of the topic that’s why a lot are already making some unnecessary praise posts just to contribute to the discussion. But I believed this forum deserves a lot of praises due to the limitless knowledge we have learned from it. And if we keep on reading and learning here, for sure it will help us to be more motivated to be successful in the forum provided that we also follow the right mindset to be a successful investor or trader.

If you seek for knowledge about life’s practicality, I guess bitcointalk forum is the best option. It does not focus only in crypto and in finances, but as well as the whole aspects in life that will make you equipped and become the best version of yourself. But above all, the knowledge we can gain here is unlimited since we do learned a lot of things every now and the, thanks to the reputable forum members as they keep the forum more alive and more convenient for learning.

There are a lot of things in store in this forum. It is quite numerous to comprehend. Is it exposure to information about crypto, economics, world events (politics and society), or sports? etc. For you to fully understand everything you needed to know in life, it has been brought in and discussed here in one way or another.

I can't thank this forum enough for the knowledge she has given me to manage my daily life as a contented living being; this forum is like a school all by itself.

You are just exaggerating much the forum based on your perception about the overall feature of the forum. You don’t need any crazy idea just to be a member. Be an organic member that shares knowledge and discuss with other user is enough to rank up but the speed of your rank varies on the quality of your post.

Since there’s a lot of thread already existed in the forum. It’s very hard for newbie to think for a new concept for starting useful thread. But good thing there’s a merit thread here that can look on your post. I believe gathering merit to rank up is the main point of this thread that’s why OP come up to the list of OP perspective in the forum. Life on forum will be easier if you didn’t focus much on merit but rather on understanding the crypto since your knowledge will be the key to earn merit in the future.

Belonging to this forum has some benefit which includes bitcoin education, financial intelligence, investment, interpersonal skills, and so on. But I observed that there are some improvements in some areas of my life that I need to share.

Creativeity: The forum standard for post quality is very high. It is not like other social media platforms where you can post without planning or putting in the effort. Senior members in the forum are always willing to criticize and correct such substandard posts. This means you need to always think outside the box if you want to be productive in this forum. The pursuit of excellence in the forum will unconsciously spur members to be creative in thinking and writing.

There's no lie here, the forum has a way of impacting our personal life indirectly both positively and negatively but you just have to choose which energy you'll focus your attention on. One disadvantage of the forum is her heavy criticism which new newbies tends to pick up very quickly and continue same habits. As for the creativity, that's one of the positive impact and if you follow it up it'll definitely affect your life as you'll always been that one user that thinks outside the box while others are thinking alike.

I think one of the benefits of bitcointallk is that it makes you want to stay informed (be current). With the frequent discussion of things happening around the world on the forum due to her members been stations at different parts of the world,, for you to be able to participate in discussion on the forum without looking foolish, you'll have to be informed and this affect other area's of life as well.

The best thing about this community is they will share valuable tips and honest instructions because when they don't say the truth or they are wrong due to their lack of knowledge, others will correct them or they will even further explain it or give you the resources to study the topic. Unlike when you read articles or blogs about cryptocurrencies stuff, you will find that no one will oppose their opinions. no matter what they say and what they think about certain coins, that's why there are lots of newbies who fell into their trap, they were lured to invest in a pump-and-dump coin. If someone posts his opinion regarding a certain project here, he will be corrected or he will be rebutted if he is saying the wrong impression about the project he is promoting.

My favorite part iis the creativity aspect, they hold themselves to a high standard here and accept no-good postings. I read some comments on a user's profile claiming that they were spamming the forum with low-quality contributions and that other members were being banned for plagiarism, making it impossible for anyone to duplicate other people's work or content from outside websites.
This forum provides a lot of knowledge-based assistance to its users, particularly for those who want to learn and develop. I have already learned a lot on this site.

What is unique about the forum is that it goes beyond being a public space open to various discussions only. It allows business and different types of investments that are related to the blockchain in general. The membership and trust systems enable a relatively safe and evolving space, allowing users to make all kinds of exchanges among themselves, in addition to the flourishing of advertising (I do not mean here the advertisements that the forum manages itself).

I picture this forum as an educational community where we come to learn and, at the same time, teach and speak out our own ideas freely.

Plagiarism is one of the do-not-do rules we have on this forum; it's better to see a thread you know nothing about and pass than to go over to the internet browser and copy and paste just to prove a point.
You don't get punished here for speaking out your mind; you will be corrected if you are wrong, but if you plagiarize, you will be banned. The difference is clear, and the rules are simple.

Bitcointalk is not only a forum to talk about bitcoin. It is also the platform for many things. You can learn so many things just by giving some time on different boards here, but also you can stay on a board/section which interests you more.

The plagiarism policy has also made me always think outside the box and recreate general ideas in the media. To avoid plagiarism one needs to be creative and unconsciously this skill is deposited in members.

You need yo understand that during the process of learning, there's what we called conscious learning and unconscious learning whereby we get after being exposed to learning new things in life as a whole, imagine the bitcointalk community as a large one having diverse of people, tribes, technology experts and many educational resourceful users as gift in every manner or aspect of life engaging members on discussions, there's no how you can't learn since we have rules guiding the forum and it's been moderated unlike other platforms being disorganized.

Law-abiding

When you're law abiding, it brings in the good opportunity for you to learn fast and got improved, by so doing you then discover about how creative you could be while on the forum in your own way, which this serves as your own little way of contributing to the community but it all start by being law abiding, someone that does not obey law cannot got far on this forum.

It indirectly makes you respect other people's work so that you will always acknowledge them by referencing them when you lift their work and also obey the rules in the forum. Teaching me that nobody is above the law is priceless.
