The question is whether the post was on-topic to the off-topic thread; if we made a thread named "List your favorite pizza toppings" and you answered "Rock & Roll", then it's unrelated to the thread that's unrelated to Bitcoin Tongue

Nope. I have to find it but it was on topic in a "off-topic" thread Tongue lol

Back to topic. The post can be off-topic as long as it is not spam I believe.

And based on moderator mood, you will find out if it was spam  Cheesy

Bacon is a meat product prepared from a pig and usually cured. It is first cured using large quantities of salt, either in a brine or in a dry packing; the result is fresh bacon (also known as green bacon). Fresh bacon may then be further dried for weeks or months in cold air, or it may be boiled or smoked. Fresh and dried bacon is typically cooked before eating. Boiled bacon is ready to eat, as is some smoked bacon, but may be cooked further before eating.

Who doesn't like bacon?  Shocked

Haha me! As being a foreigner I never understand the hype of bacon here in US. Isn't it just a piece of salted pork fat?

P.S.: I do like bacon though Smiley) But it doesn't count since I'll eat anything edible...

Was your post actually Bitcoin related? LOL!

Yes!
I was under the impression that the Off-Topic forum is for posts that are not related to Bitcoin. Therefore, your post related to Bitcoin was off-topic, and it should have been put in a relevant Bitcoin-related section.

I commented "Nice Smiley" for some post i really liked, and I also got deleted...Well sorry if i liked the post...

The mods also don't really like short responses, either; there was some trouble a little while back where "+1" and "^this" was placed under scrutiny for it being so common and not contributing much to threads, so now those types of responses are deleted.

What was your post? I think it'll still get deleted if it's just spam.

How do the determine it was spam? I don't know . I don't have it anymore.  Maybe, the perfer bacon over spam?
First learn what spam is:

I know what spam is. The guy posting to me was wondering if that's what it could be.

We don't need moderators.
All the moderation/trust/ignore stuff should integrate in a single community-base thing.
How exactly?

Any flagging system can be abused, and if there's some kind of majority to vote for stuff, majority can still abuse over minority.
If instead you have someone preventing majorities from mistrusting minorities, basically you'd have moderators again.

So, either you build a system as complex as a State (which might easily fail anyway, as anyone can see), I don't see how your suggestion might meet the real word.

(and that's sad, because it would be nice. Only, it doesn't work)
