You can trust prediction but it was better to conduct your own research in order to get legitimate information about the cryptocurrency price in the future.
Firstly, you can't trust any prediction. Secondly, there is no such a thing as 'legitimate information' when it comes to the crypto world. Every detail is highly speculative and not worthy of relying on.

If even the traditional experts who really know their own game can't predict the movements of this market, then how are noobs not knowing anything supposed to conduct proper research? It's impossible.

If noobs focused more on hodling than trading worthless trash coins they wouldn't keep losing their capital. In stock markets 90% of the traders are losers, which is probably even worse here.
I do not want to predict the future value because I believe in looking for benefit only rather than wasting time in making predictions as we know that it took a long time to recover and when we expect the price to go high it falls down on the next day. Expert opinion is also positive about the Bitcoin and they said in terms of all the factors that it will rise above than 30k dollar in the upcoming 5 months.

the price of bitcoin has dropped to the price of $ 7200, most likely the price of bitcoin will drop below $ 7000. I hope there will be no more bad news so the price of bitcoin can rise again.
I normally see an element of appreciation in the value of Bitcoin after a fall and right now the phase of recovery has also started so I do not think we will have a fall below $7000 or to $7000 either. The market forces decide the appreciation in the value of any asset in the market. I am of the view that Bitcoin will cross the $10000 value in the month of August and this might accelerate the pace of Bitcoin growth as well as that of economy.

I predict that even though the current bull run appears to be over, that BTC will not be down significantly below $6000.

This prediction is just based on looking at price variations in 2018. $6000 appears to have support.

Note: Don't anyone trust my prediction. I'm just learning more about price movements and making predictions to see to what degree I'm able to predict the market. Or not.

I don't think we will reach anywhere close to 6k again.  It looks like 7.5k has a ton of support so the bull run should be picking up again soon by the end of the year.
Yes that is right that bitcoin price is getting a very strong support at that level and therefore it does not look like that bitcoin price will fellow down below 7000$. I think that the current price is the lowest price for bitcoin and it will not fell down any more.

Well i didn't think that was ever a bull run to start with. Though things are not as worse as they were a  month or two ago and i think that 7k support will hold, at least for a little while more.

The first mistake you have actually made is to try to predict the possibility of the future when it comes to a market. Firstly, bitcoin can go for as low as it wants to with no one being able to stop that, and only to take advantage of the opportunity if it suffices. Nevertheless, we have broken and go lower than $6k, so I do not see how that is an impossibility again. It is good you said you are new to the market, and I am sure as time goes on, you will understand that no market is predictable and we only have the trend to follow at our disposal.

the price of bitcoin has dropped to the price of $ 7200, it is very likely that the price of bitcoin will continue to fall until the price of bitcoin falls below $ 7000. But I hope that will not happen.

why is it likely? that is the important part where you failed to explain.

just like back a couple of days ago during the rise, this is the same. just because price moved a little bit in a certain direction it doesn't mean it will continue fast and big in that direction. as i said before just because it went to $8k it doesn't mean it will go to $50k this fast.
The market tends to move in different cycles, there is a bullish trend then a bearish trend and then a time where the market does not trend at all, people are expecting to see a bullish trend again but the most likely scenario is one in which this up and down movement continues for years, so I do not expect any kind of big movement in any direction.

bitcoin and the market is not dead for it to stand still with no movement for "years"! that simply is impossible. even during the longest transition phase of bitcoin after the 2013 bubble the "up and down movement" phase only lasted about 6-9 months after reaching the bottom. and that was a special case. before that these phases lasted a lot shorter.

I am neither believing on this nor on others because I know and we all know better that market price of Bitcoin is unstable which varies with its factors whenever the demand or buying rate changes then the Bitcoin price alters in that direction in which buying rate goes. Price has been following different prices in different times so predictions are almost in certain and we should focus on present market to lead ourselves accordingly.

The worst is if one day we see the Bitcoin price going back to $20,000, most people will rush to sell thinking that this time they will not miss the moment, and psychologically thinking that the price will not go higher. It will be like if they panic because the price is too high. I say $20,000 but pretty sure we will see the trend starting at $15,000

Yeah you are right and you can't in fact don't blame the people to take profit.
I will also do the same. When the price hits again 15000$, I will sell some of my BTC to have back my initial investment and than speculate with the rest.

Don't worry we have differences and you are just sharing viewpoint in bitcoin prices. And also for this coming months i believe bitcoin will go up to $10000 to $15000.

This month we should expect some good hype but 15k USD is impossible in Crypto platform because lot of good news are comes in market but this will maintain a constant level.
So 10k USD is possible on end of the month and many new investors are day by day participate in Bitcoin so it will reach more 20k USD on end of the year.

Very hard to predict about such an unstable market but we know how to make benefit for our selves which is our target and we can look into that. Prediction is tough but experts say about the future price that Bitcoin can achieve price higher than 25k US dollar and we hope for that too.

It does not matter if it took a lot of time to recover as we will have our desired time any time once again so wait for it and do not sell for loss or little profit which is action against your appearance.

I don't think we will reach anywhere close to 6k again.  It looks like 7.5k has a ton of support so the bull run should be picking up again soon by the end of the year.
Hope so but it's fine if ever it goes $6k again. I'm still optimistic that we will see a 5digit price before the end of this year even with rejection of ETF. Ber months is near and most are expecting a rise during those months. Hope it will going to happen.

On a positive note, $10,000 mark or even way higher above that is close to reality that may happened this year even with the current market situation like this. A one big push from large marketers can create and triggered a mark of bull run. But even if not, I don't see any problem with that because after all if we take this into long term views, we can expect again an unexpected price increase rally and that is surely will happened.

And ETF rejection has nothing to do with the market behaviour today. Last year same scenario happened but BTC price goes into rampage. If it will happened again this year? Let's see.

That is a solid prediction. But question is what is next? Will be this the bottom of this Bitcoin cycle?  When will recovery start?
You are talking like a bot lol.
What's next is another bump and dump cycle of course.
You will never know the bottom of any Bitcoin cycle.
Recovery already started few days ago.

Yes ofcourse we will have another ATH most likely in 2020. But my question and should be of evergreen is did we reached bottom already or we will have to wait of it a it more time.   Since you say that recovery started, that means you most believe that bottom happened few weeks ago.   After Bitcoin reach bottom takes few months where Bitcoin stays stable close to bottom before recovery starts.  So You seems to predict stability now. I am not that sure about it yet.

Yes. We continue to support that bitcoin continues to increase. I'm also sure not only $ 10k but maybe up to $ 20k. Because I see movement begin to increase.
the fact is that the price of bitcoin actually drops at $ 8,000.

I hope so, with the etf decision striked down, cboe etf doesnt have much chance. It can mean more downside in the short term. In the longer term i am not worried about it, it will soar
in the future Bitcoin increasingly dominates the value of any currency. Dollar can scream. But no matter what the Bitcoin price phenomenon, you still have to be vigilant. Because the higher the popularity, more and more are trying to manipulate it.

That is a solid prediction. But question is what is next? Will be this the bottom of this Bitcoin cycle?  When will recovery start?
The prediction is solid just because we had a fall below $6000 in the end of June and in the start of July which was instantly recovered by a quick rise within hours.

This was what I though as well after observing the price movement and the next I would love to talk about is the rise. We have a rising trend in the market and it might happen to continue till we have a bull market with the values crossing the last year’s highest.
If that's what we're looking fo and not the actual market, maybe predictions was making manipulations here. People were always crazy about it, and their world only turns around with the current opinions of different people who had their own thoughts. Somehow it becames more worst, since every ideas went to negative perceptions which made every traders decisions inaccurate.

It's hard to say or predict for certain, obviously. Right now, $6k is probably easily the strongest support that bitcoin's got.

And so far it has proven to be the bottom. However, there is also every possibility that the bear market may go down further and break the current bottom of around $6k as people irrationally dump their coins.

The question is really whether $6k will hold up or not. I think that it could really be going both ways. But this shouldn't even matter if you're planning on holding for the long term, which I think is probably the best strategy to take right now. $6k is going to close to the bottom, if not the actual bottom. Doing dollar cost averaging near these prices would be a good idea, imo.

I predict that even though the current bull run appears to be over, that BTC will not be down significantly below $6000.

We are not moving forward and it seems the price is stagnant at around $8000-$8200. Which led me to believed that there's no bull run that happen but just a bounce from the last bottom.

This prediction is just based on looking at price variations in 2018. $6000 appears to have support.

Again, support will always be there and we can call it strong until it was psychologically broken down. So there's a possibility that we might see another bottom if the VanEck SolidX ETF application would be rejected by SEC. So we can't rule out that possibility.

Note: Don't anyone trust my prediction. I'm just learning more about price movements and making predictions to see to what degree I'm able to predict the market. Or not.

Noted. And that's what makes this market really exciting, other's have their own prediction, but at the end of the day the final decision will be up to you and can't blame anyone for your failure or success.

Shortly 6000 dollars is the new bottom. We have a rise and nice 8100 dollars, will price hold this position and rise note after, will we see a drop is impossible to say. As smart trader I sold some bitcoins and wait for price to drop to buy again, after ETF decision I think we will see little drop again. I don't worry, as smart trader I have some bitcoins on a side if price continue to rise. That's trading for newbies, you never sell everything, you hunt top by selling some when price is in green, if continue to rise you sell again some part, and like that until you sell on top and then when price drop you buy again.
I think that if you can manage then you should not sell your bitcoin, but to wait for the price to increase, because it is not sure that either the price will drop in future or not, to me I think that bitcoin price is not going to drop anymore, because the price remained lower for a long long time therefore I do not expect any further in bitcoin price.

Well, we saw this to be true during the bear market, we saw that sometimes the price went lower than that but after a few days the price recovered, however it is entirely possible that if the bitcoin ETF is denied again by the SEC that we touch an even lower price than that since people are going to be very disappointed that we get denied once again by the SEC.

As per my prediction the price of bitcoin will touch $10k by the end of this year december. It will not again dump below $5k. The price started to increase recently but again dump will happens. But this dip will not continue for long time. Again the price starts to pump and achieve the very high level in up coming days. So easily it will reach $10k by the ens of this year.

just calm down, I do not trust this kind of prediction.  Cheesy
after all I never trust the predictions about bitcoin, because it's useless to do it, bitcoin will never be predicted.
Agree with your opinion that Bitcoin prices and the crypto market will no one be able to predict accurately. In the past, I believed in celebrity speculations, but they seemed to have made false assumptions to think Bitcoin prices could rise to $ 30k this year.

Obviously the price cannot just drastically drops to $6k dollars because there are still a lot of holders unless a bad news or negative speculations come's out and it will change the mindset of every investors to sell their coins.

Or not.

Actually, it is really possible that bitcoins will never go down to $6k because there are more investors this year which makes the demand in the market to increase even more.

Lets wait for the decision about the etf proposal If it will not approve Im sure we can see a new bottom maybe less than 5500 because many investors will lose hope about bitcoin only the believers will hodl so at this point no one can give accurate predictions until decisions are made from SEC.

You cant just say 6k is bottom just looking at previous bottoms.its not that easy. If you just look at the 2018 tops and bottoms al tops are lower than previous one. And even bottoms are gone below 6k. That tops will finish and merge with bottoms than will make some volatile movements, these moves probably will be far below than 6k. You can just see this scenario from 2014-2015. Unfortunately 6k is not real bottom.

I don't trust such predictions since we all know here price is very volatile. So prices may not go lower $6k and this is a good signs that bitcoin seems started to increase a bit. I think price may increase hopefully this following month.

This time btc is solid and i do not see that it will stop around anything low, my analysis is that in this bull run that will atleast span till september btc will test its previous all time high mark, if not more.

Predictions are hard to make in a very volatile market and the fact that there was a price action now does not mean if the possibility of testing the support zone comes again, we still cannot break it lower. Moreover, this is not even a bull run, but just an upward correction from the downtrend, which to me seems like could be ending anytime soon unless we get to see some upward move above $10k resistance that would say otherwise.

The price was around $ 6,000 last week, so going back to 6000 is not ruled out.
The lowest point is 5500 dollars, and the price continues to rise as soon as it touches the $ 5,000 range, so it is unlikely "given the current situation" the rate fell below $ 5000.
There has been a drop of $ 300 yesterday, which means $ 8,000 is not real.
Bitcoin is a volatile cryptocurrency but it is good successful platform for long term holders. So this price fluctuation is common because 300 USD is daily changes but this will move 1k USD down you will fear in this platform. So surely it is safest investment and my prediction is 10k USD in end of August.

It wasn't a bull run, it was simply a an increase in the price that lasted a few weeks, you can't call that a "bull run".

But I agree with the last part, I don't think we'll go below 6k, mainly because I believe we've found a new floor around the 6k-7k range. Obviously, this could change if the whales decide to start a massive btc dump wave, but I believe the price should hold pretty well around those numbers. I don't expect us to test low levels (6k or even the last bottom around 5.7k) in a very long time (i'm being bullish, I know).

Yes, I agree that if we ever face another declined, it will not go below $6K. Actually, we might not see another bottom below $6K because there's a lot of positive news that will be coming in the next couple of months.

It's not likely to go below $6000 once again, but impossible to rule out either.

It's important to realize that when the SX & VanEck ETF gets rejected, we will fall considerably where altcoins will start to catch up on Bitcoin again. People are not interested in the tech of coins or how secure or decentralized they are; they just jump on the next train in case it offers more profit potential, and altcoins do offer that profit potential, more so than Bitcoin. The less you expect of the market in the short term the less disappointment you have to go through.

Positive news is a tool to fool the mass and it only "works" when we are going up.

Agree with your opinion that Bitcoin prices and the crypto market will no one be able to predict accurately. In the past, I believed in celebrity speculations, but they seemed to have made false assumptions to think Bitcoin prices could rise to $ 30k this year.

i think it is a perfectly reasonable prediction and the good thing about it is that it is based on facts not just a guess which is what most people do. and it is the safest prediction to make because $6k is proven to be the unbreakable bottom but a little less safe prediction would be that the bottom has already increased which means in case of a drop we will end up higher than the previous one.

I think that your prediction is wrong because the market price of bitcoins drop to $5.8k dollar but it increase immediately back to $6k in just a few hours, it only means that there are big whales who are waiting for a huge dump in the market.

Actually, i'm sicked of these predictions because there are lot them for this year that did not happen as desired like they said May is the start of a bullish run but what actually happen was the market is in more difficult specially Bitcoin therefore i rather to wait and see than listening to the predictions because it will just make us disappointed if we believe them but anyway this is better than spreading FUD that will only make the market worst.

And bitcoin is going back up again. My prediction is already wrong.
With cryptocurrencies in general when you give a logic prediction you always win. Saying Bitcoin will fall is true and it happened. Saying it will rise, yes it happened too, unless you predict something over $10,000 in a short period.
The important parameters is not the price movement in fact, it is adoption then comes the level in which the price could resist above.

that is only true about bitcoin not cryptocurrencies in general sine the real adoption has only so far happened for bitcoin and most of the altcoins aren't even ready for the real world or capable of it even in some cases.
and regarding $10k I have to say it is not such a far away target to be impossible for a short term. it is only a small 20ish percent rise which is really nothing for bitcoin. I think you should have said $100k in short term.

well yes of course because  6k is the current bottom price since the volatility of market keep trying to break the resistance , and in my prediction probably even $6500 is impossible to break on this circumstances which is on this sudden decrease of progress. Because market still have potential to increase again base on the pattern nowadays.

I predict that even though the current bull run appears to be over, that BTC will not be down significantly below $6000.

The bull run is not yet finished, bitcoin is still going up and rebounded in the last 24 hours. It went from $8200-$7800, but it looks like the price is almost $8200 again. The decline was triggered by the disapproval of the Winklevoss 2nd appeal for Bitcoin ETF, but the effort is short live.

This prediction is just based on looking at price variations in 2018. $6000 appears to have support.

Bitcoin can be quite susceptible to manipulation and panic sometimes, so if we'll return to more bearish market, prices below $6,000 are possible for short periods. A good example of such crash can be the one that happened last year when China banned exchanges.

But also it's too early to say that this bull run is over, the market is still waiting for ETF decisions and there's a lot of hope.

it wasn't exactly a bull run in my opinion. what we had was just a simple rise, you may even call it a recovery after going lower than it should have gone so now the market is correcting itself. and it is not over. it just slowed down and we had some drama yesterday which caused that temporary small drop.

as for the drop, i don't expect it to go under $6k for the same reasons but also i don't expect it to go below $7k or at least $6.7k since the bottom is also coming up: lower lows.

All need trust in Bitcoin, hopefully this is the lowest price of Bitcoin at this price, now it only takes positive news to be more confident in the market, in a few months maybe Bitcoin will bounce back to show that ETF has no big effect on it, assuming that, no matter what happens I keep enjoying it, it's just a big renewal after a tremendous rise, trying to rebuild the foundation to stay firmly on the hill, trusting the future for many to contribute to Bitcoin and new funding little by little.
Your "trust" is based on the price and not Bitcoin itself, which is wrong. The price isn't worth any of your trust because of how unreliable the short term market is. Literally everything can happen still.

I wouldn't even be surprised to see the market yet again test the $6000 mark and probably not hold it. If we test that level too often, the demand isn't there and we'll likely see the price fall much and much lower.

People often say that triple bottoms are a bullish sign, but what if we keep testing it? That can't be too bullish, right? We have to accept that when there isn't any demand the price will reflect that. Being overly bullish means nothing.

i'd say the chances of new lows have gone down moderately, but we're not out of the woods. it'll take time to prove that.

we've got a wyckoff spring from the bottom and it looks like we should have a new medium term trend (up). i suspect it won't pan out as a new bull market to ATHs. but something like 2012 makes a lot of sense to me. (correction is not over, and another leg down may be coming, but the bottom might already be in)

I agree I don't see bitcoin going below $6000 it is its price floor right now even the worst thing scenario is bitcoin below $6500 less will be an underestimation of the value. The only reason of bitcoins fall is that there is no news and updates all over the world and is in fact being isolated by most people, bitcoin needs more voice and letters to spread by doing so it will most likely to surpass its limit again and go over $10k value.
